Well we do have more than Wisky or at least as much. My take is the team fell asleep at 17-0. 14 of those points gifted by Joseph. I mean they weren't interceptions. It was like PSU was the intended recipients.After that PSU wanted to have a picnic and Wisky kept playing football. It happens.Becht had a horrible game. It happens. Im a big Yankee fan. I've seen Mantle, Berra ,Maris, Mattingly...but Judge surpasses them all. Yet he has streaks where he looks lost. That was Becht tonight. Fanatics overreact. A win at Northwestern and the loyal fanbase will be back waxing poetic about how much better Campbell is than that damned Franklin. LOL

I get it, but I’m not sold on Becht or Hansen. I don’t think they spell wins in the Big Ten.

People acting like Campbell and his starting roster aren't being paid a ton of $$$ for that embarrassing crapshow are laughable. You would think PSU is paying Campbell and the team bottom of the barrel $$$ - the reality is the diametric opposite. Kraft needs to be accountable for the amount of $$$ he has shelled out for this embarrassing performance while totally screwing up the firing of the second winningest coach in PSU history.... for instance, Chessney wanted to come to PSU and probably could have been had for a lot less $$$ than Campbell..... but Kraft screwed the pooch on the entire coaching search too apparently. Who precisely do you hold accountable for Rocco Becht being paid what he is being paid and chasing away Grunk with his player evaluation that would lead him to pay that type of $$$ to Becht???? Who besides Campbell and primarily Kraft given that he could have hired Chessney -probably for much less - if he wasn't such a horses butt clown empty-suit. This is no longer amateur football where recruiting takes years to take effect - this is Professional Footballl with Unlimited and Unrestricted Absolute Free Agency and Kraft....and his boy Campbell just failed miserably - a very public failing which by Kraft's stated standards deserves action in the way of firing in the form of a very public lynching. Kraft by his own loudmouth words deserves to be terminated - immediately. This isn't pee-wee league volunteer coaching / administration - this is Professional Football and Kraft has shown that he is in so far over his head in terms of talent evaluation (as is his boy HCMC) it isn't even funny - he needs to be held accountable for this embarrassment relative to the sums spent and be terminated poste-haste.

Wrestling season is right around the corner and Cael and the boys will dominate again. It's gonna take Campbell a few years to catch up with Cael's domination

The Rocco Becht that played today is exactly the same Rocco Becht that played in Ames in 2025.

He benefitted from a normally weak Big12 to prop up his stats.

Kraft's magical mystery coaching search left little time to assemble a competitive squad, I understand why under the circumstances Campbell tried to keep the gang together.
1. post semi final loss Kraft started sticking his nose in the operation of the football program
2. he ignored Franklin's concerns about potential NIL shortcomings due to a robust plan for the stadium
3, he assured Franklin that NIL cash would be available for pre NCAA NIL clearinghouse implementation.
The money wasn't produced and we lost the likes of Luke Wafle (who wanted to come badly)/
4. he turned down CJF's (agent) request for an extension (he was the 16th highest paid coach) after finishing in the semi finals. At that point Franklin knew that 2025 was his last...win or lose
5. Instead of supporting Franklin to finish the year, he fired him early enough for James to set up camp in our back yard ( where he will raid recruiting for years). He was played by every big name coach in America and only produced Matt Campbell by accident.
6. He grandstanded at the Monday press conference after the firing promising a coach that will bring excellence at the highest level and a national championship. (Matt Campbell says thank you for that).
7. His toadies spread rumors of untold NIL wealth and roster mismanagement to make him look like he was cleaning up Dodge, when in fact, such resources never existed.
8. Kraft must go.

We can agree on that. Kraft really screwed the pooch on the coaching search. Kind of like the Keystone Cops. I would like to see him ' move on'. Yesterday was one of those desultory games. Reminded me of the Iowa 2009 game

Not trying to overlook our issues, but the law of averages were against us. We have not lost to Wisky since 2011. In a few of those games Wiscy was favored to beat us. Think 2012, 2013. And 2016. When you can't close the deal, you get bitten in the ***. Let us see how Campbell's team responds in the next game.

One of the things that led to the defensive collapse later in the game was that they were tired. The offense couldn’t keep on the field to keep the defense off and give them a rest.

Franklin’s one saving grace was doing well in recruiting. Campbell was given a rough task and made a stew with what he could - will see what this team can do in a year or two when he’s had some time to actually build his team here. Next two seasons will be worse than I thought.

It's still amazing people don't think Allar and Singleton were two of the highest paid players in the entire country last year.
Franklin was given every dime he asked for (NIL and staff) and completely collapsed.
