Someday folks will realize how awesome you are.

Well I have been correct about a number of things.
One thing I may have been wrong about was this team. I sincerely thought they'd win 10 games with this schedule.
Still possible, but an extreme uphill battle. Cheer up, 27 and 28 brings a tougher schedule.

If Chessney continues his success at UCLA, Kraft should definitely be shown the door. Supposedly Chessney wanted to go to PSU, but nobody contacted him - by the time Kraft reached him like a week late, Chessney had already come to terms with UCLA - to try to get him to reconsider, Kraft told him some lame bs about not being able to find his contact info (which apparently Chessney found insulting). Got played by the BYU coach, couldn't land a National Profile young coach who grew up in Central Pennsylvania and wanted to coach at PSU allowing UCLA to sign him..... paid Cambell big $$$..... Today was flat embarrassing and it is definitely on Kraft's lap.

The lack of talent on the PSU roster is the biggest concern. And when you really dig in, is it all that surprising?

We knew ahead of ‘25 that we were going all in. This year was always going to be a rebuild regardless of the coaching change. Then throw in the mass exodus of transfer. And now these ISU guys don’t look fit for the BIG.

This is going to take a while. Terrible ‘26 class due to the coaching change. ‘27 class is average too. ‘28 is off to a good start but we better hope NIL catches up.

2-3 year rebuild at minimum. We’re probably hoping for the Armstrong years to get this turned around.

Franklin’s one saving grace was doing well in recruiting. Campbell was given a rough task and made a stew with what he could - will see what this team can do in a year or two when he’s had some time to actually build his team here. Next two seasons will be worse than I thought.

High quality "free agent" portalees want to play for a chance for a championship and to improve their draft status. They don't care about a coach's vision.

The only time schedule is a “cake walk” is if you’re an elite level team. When we’re playing a bunch of teams that are as good as we are, it’s not a cake walk.

I used to be so angry after a loss that I wanted to rip the face off of anybody that brought it up. I grew up, and developed a new perspective. They are still going to play the games with that same classic uniform, and I will have a rooting interest, and I will be wishing for a winning performance. Enjoy the season! Give the new coach a chance. Nobody likes to lose, but it makes one appreciate winning a game.

Well we do have more than Wisky or at least as much. My take is the team fell asleep at 17-0. 14 of those points gifted by Joseph. I mean they weren't interceptions. It was like PSU was the intended recipients.After that PSU wanted to have a picnic and Wisky kept playing football. It happens.Becht had a horrible game. It happens. Im a big Yankee fan. I've seen Mantle, Berra ,Maris, Mattingly...but Judge surpasses them all. Yet he has streaks where he looks lost. That was Becht tonight. Fanatics overreact. A win at Northwestern and the loyal fanbase will be back waxing poetic about how much better Campbell is than that damned Franklin. LOL

I agree we are not at the talent level we need to be with so many ISU transfers. The difference for me is that I thought ISU transfer talent could get us by a Luke Fickell coached Wisconsin at home and NW even on the road. An ISU program is equal to a Wisky program so it is difficult to stomach this one. Especially when you add in the PSU talent.

Campbell has his hands full to pull this together and breathe some kind of life into this anemic offense.

I really don't see a win next week and then maybe they have some life in the WO game but USC will probably score 3-4 TDs on us so I don't think our turtle offense can keep up. Then on to the Cheaters and again I don't see us winning there as I think they can completely shut down this offense. Maybe Howard is back for that game but will it be enough?
