Half empty stadium= low fan support. This also correlates to low TV audience. Put it all together and UL is not carrying their own weight for the ACC conference. Also, I believe that they are the lowest ranked school academically. Add in the nasty stripper scandals and all that malfeasance that Papa John uncovered......who wants UL once the ACC goes by the wayside?

I don't buy it. They used Louder than life as excuse last week when so many empty seats.
Half the crowds at LTL and Boutbon are from out of state then add another 1/4 fans not even UL fans..
They just have a weak fan base and expanding the chicken coop was a stupid idea.

Jurich got too excited about the ACC move and was in the middle of a personal dong measuring contest with UK to realize UofL isn't Alabama and their fans are more interested in drinking and sharing Catholic high school stories to show up and cheer. Then they brought back "their son", not realizing he's good but not great. He'll get you an occasional top 15 win then immediately drop the next game to a dental school. They'll make a playoff appearance eventually simply because their league is garbage and an expansion of teams will happen but he's their version Tubby (without the title). They want him to be so much more and he's not it...but he's still too good to be forced out when he's getting you eight or so wins per year. That's Louisville. They think they're top 10 when they're really top 30.
