Penn State wrestling will not release its 2026-2027 schedule for some time. However, new details keep trickling in. Here's the latest one.
March 5th 2027 is a Friday, pretty sure BIGS are Saturday and Sunday....

November 24. NWCA ALL STAR match…Rec Hall.
Definitely not a good look if you announce it first. Ohio st, Oklahoma st, Iowa and VA tech won't be sending guys. Iowa has Iowa st 2 days before and VA tech is at Stanford around that time and Ohio St has NC St on the 20th and Bellarmine on the 22nd. When I first heard it was Thanksgiving week I liked it but now that I see the teams who won't be sending guys maybe early November is better

I read that DT is beside himself hoping for a chance to match his guys against ours. No?
Not sure what Oklahoma st has scheduled around that time but I know they had guys asked who said no. I wish all the best would compete but the coaches are in charge and March is what pays the bills
Which is it -- did the guys say no, or are the coaches in charge?
Coaches decide. But the athlete is the one who denies it. Some coaches will say we aren't sending anyone before guys are asked
Apparently November 24th is not the date DT has held open for Penn State.
We should have a contest to guess the date. My pick is February 30th.
My guess would be November 31st. Just enough time to work off that extra turkey leg and those mashed potatoes.
I made that trip last time PSU wrestled in Binghamton. Not a bad experience. May do it again.

I’m going to be Europe for the NCAAs, six time zones away. So the evening session will be middle of the night for me an I won’t be able to follow live like I normally do. Will be counting on detailed PBP from this board

Bloomsburg wrestling just announced they will face Penn State at Rec Hall on November 12th. I’d love to see Cael & Co add a few more dual meets with in-state teams to the schedule. Years ago fans were mad that Stutzman sat his best Buffalo guys against Penn st . Bloomsburg doesn't really have anyone good to sit. They've a hwt who made the tournament last year who returns
At PSU, assuming good health starters start.
They aren't loaded with an overwhelming number competitive dates.
November 12th is a Thursday. Thinking this was a typo, I checked it on Bloomsburg Wrestling’s website. Thursday the 12th at 7:00pm is correct.
