So Shelby can come watch Lincolnton/Burns in person. Even though they will get the game film.

Weather doesn’t have anything to do with that game being moved. Shelby will have a running clock at halftime.

It could rain all day long…. Shelby will still having a running clock on WL at Halftime.

Shelby just wants to get this game out of the way….

Simmons has Lincolnton winning by 3. Only 3? I mean Burns lost to KM and Crest. Were 1-2. Lincolnton is 3-0. Surely he doesn't think we can keep it that close.

It's an algorithm...just like power polls, its a formula that he personally uses that takes personal opinions out. Thats one of the reasons why I never understand why people get upset over power polls(not saying anyone upset here). It's a formula you plug numbers into...ex...if his numbers plug in and has has Highland tech beating shelby by 50, thats what he puts as prediction, even if in his personal opinion, shelby would win by 80.

For any of the Burns guys that are old heads like me, and plan to come down for the game, I wouldn’t use Highway 182 (The part of 182 between Highway 274 & Lincolnton) especially at night, going back. There are many curves and hills.

Suggestion: Coming from Fallston-Lawndale, take Highway 182 to NC 274…Turn right and go into Cherryville. Highway 274 becomes North Mountain Street in Cherryville. When you get to NC 150 (Church St. in Cherryville), turn left and go to Lincolnton that way…May take about 10 minutes longer but it’s safer.

Bushleague, you’re a knowledgeable guy, but Maiden wasn’t an easy game. The Blue Devil defense played us tough.
Feel like Maiden could play Burns tough, too. Course, we may find that out for certain in November.

We also had over 150+ in penalties…. We had 3 15 yard penalties that extended a drive and they still couldn’t score…. Maiden has to many players going both ways… burns don’t

Maiden does have 5 returning ALL Conference players on defense alone… I just think burns is better… but we shall see later on…

We are so undisciplined that we had to end the scrimmage with East Lincoln a few minutes early because of the players getting into a Bruha…

Well, I would say that is pretty undisciplined, don’t you think? Wonder if there has ever been another team who got into a brawl and couldn’t even complete a scrimmage. Seems like there was another team that did that, but I can’t think of who they were. Maybe somebody else can. SMFH

Looking forward to my first game at Lincolnton. Used to play in a flag football league that played on the practice fields but other than that never been to Lincolnton's stadium. Hope we can keep it close!
