UNC Field Hockey 2026-2027

[minas823]

Great decision by Merritt to come off her line there

[unc80]

Is it me or does Princeton get every 50-50 reset whistle?

[minas823]

What a stop by Merritt to keep us at zeros

[unc80]

Skubisz!

[minas823]

Is it me or does Princeton get every 50-50 reset

I wondered this myself most of that second quarter

[oldwell]

Decent first half - controlled for the most part

[minas823]

Wow. We are so lucky

[minas823]

Another goal line save by the Heels. Thank you Morgan! Corner for the Heels coming up! Nothing from it… I’m glad we went to Bruder this time though.

[minas823]

We need a midfield presence to step up. Coco/Sofia

[oldwell]

These cards are crazy

[minas823]

These refs are card happy for the Heels. The fella has given out all 3

[unc80]

Breath on them gets a green card.

[minas823]

Kinda wish we still had timeouts

[unc80]

We're getting absolutely dominated right now. Living dangerously.

[minas823]

Very lucky once again… We can’t keep relying on it

[minas823]

And somehow a clear hard trip is a green for Princeton! Hmmmm

[minas823]

I could cry. Bruder hits the post

[minas823]

Two great scoring chances by the Heels to close out 3Q. Hoping those chances do not haunt us!

[minas823]

Charly gets a push in the back, pushed over receiving the ball. Foul Carolina???

[oldwell]

These cards have been crazy through out

[unc80]

Scratching my head over that last restart.

[unc80]

We're making way too many errant passes on the clear. Princeton's constant pressure seems to have rattled us.

[oldwell]

Shoot out here we go

[minas823]

Coco is too upright against these shorter midfielders. Also isn’t confident against these better teams. Reid Miller just needs to turn on the jets and get the ball out of the midfield herself. She kind of reminds me of Zimmer in that way. Hopefully Imme is the answer to our midfield.

We are so lucky we made it through regulation without giving up a goal. Maybe we can steal this one in shoot outs.

[minas823]

Wow wow wow!!!

[BlueHeels02]

Heroic performance in goal

[minas823]

Male ref wants to overturn this so bad

[minas823]

Merritt for president

[BlueHeels02]

Keeper MVP!!!

[BlueHeels02]

Why would they get to retake that??

[minas823]

Why did she get to retake that?

[minas823]

Im confused, that did not look like it was in goal when time expired?

[oldwell]

Big win

[unc80]

YES!!!

[BlueHeels02]

Let’s go!!!!

[Jriv23]

Sounds like the referees are cheating. They are trying their best to give the game to Princeton. This really sucks. We are playing on our field, and we still cannot get a call.

[minas823]

Oh man I did NOT want to go to 1-3 on the year. This could be a huge turning point for the team.

Sorry Tessa, but Merritt just landed this job indefinitely.

[oldwell]

The refs were not fair. Goes back to that overturned stoke last week..

Getting better each week. Let’s go!

[unc80]

Game ball to Merritt. What a performance. Sofia Ferri has ice water in her veins.

[minas823]

Based on the retake for Ferri, they had to of felt Merritt had too much contact with Milone on her first attempt?

Regardless - what a gutsy win for the Heels. Luck be with us today (and I’m not complaining).
