Official ‘26 PSU - Marshall Game Thread

[PSU Mike]

Not quite seeing it with Hansen yet, but there haven’t been holes yet either.

[RyanSnyder]

[BobPSU92]

How long before Campbell ruins Becht?

[cntblvitsbutter]

That was made by the OLine…Becht could have ordered a pizza.

But other QBs probably would've panicked and left the pocket.

[leinbacker]

I don't get it, why are we throwing a pass beyond the yard marker?

[Ludd]

And WR #0. Franklin was incapable of recruiting and developing someone as tall and talented as him? @Ludd

Little early to be saying that. Hamilton, Hamler, Dotson all say hi.

[LionJim]

Good aerial shot of the touchdown.

[G3624]

They tackle well.

[Big_O]

I am not exactly enamored by the starting RB. Certainly not the caliber of Kaytron.

[KingLando]

Marshall's definitely trying to force us to beat them in the air--not much room early

[Calabrin]

Remember last year when no one could figure out how to get Koby Howard more snaps?

[Ludd]

But other QBs probably would've panicked and left the pocket.

Oh good lord.

[NittanyChris]

Ebel is ALL OVER the field thus far.

[cntblvitsbutter]

I know it's Marshall, but tackling seems to be improved.

[KingLando]

I am not exactly enamored by the starting RB. Certainly not the caliber of Kaytron.

That's a high bar

[psu0408]

Ebel is a player.

[Phils rug]

They're gonna block one of those punts today

[cntblvitsbutter]

Now let's see the OL start opening up some holes.

[AvgUser]

I am not exactly enamored by the starting RB. Certainly not the caliber of Kaytron.

Agreed. They dont look good so far.

[LionJim]

They're gonna block one of those punts today

Or get a roughing penalty.

[PSU Mike]

I third the Ebel positivity.

[Ludd]

They're gonna block one of those punts today

They are getting awful close.

[LMTLION]

Ebel is ALL OVER the field thus far.

I am pleasantly surprised. We really have not heard much about him in preseason.

[m.knox]

This is such a weird feeling. I see the blue uniforms, but I don’t seem to recognize that they’re my team yet.

Same. Good to see Howard score.

[Ludd]

Agreed. They dont look good so far.

They have a lot of them to try, so maybe someone will break out.

[psu0408]

Hopefully we’ll see Peoples this series.

[RyanSnyder]

OMG. It's like 8 mins into the first game

We're about to go up 17-0

[Calabrin]

Awesome cut by Koby to secure that 1st down.

[cntblvitsbutter]

Howard does have a bit of a burst doesn't he.

[KingLando]

Still don't understand why Howard wasn't involved more last year but, regardless, he looks great today

[MM1994]

I like the way Becht gets rid of the ball quickly, he is decisive.

[LionJim]

Howard does have a bit of a burst doesn't he.

Very good awareness is what got him the first down.

[LMTLION]

Awesome cut by Koby to secure that 1st down.

Franklin had no idea he was even on the team last year.

[BobPSU92]

I hate us.

[KingLando]

I like the way Becht gets rid of the ball quickly, he is decisive.

It has a lot to do with the design of the offense--this scheme is so much better

[Bison13]

Remember last year when no one could figure out how to get Koby Howard more snaps?

TS got him on the field, someone else played Liam Clifford

[MtNittany]

[cntblvitsbutter]

Are they still on

Very good awareness is what got him the first down.

Oh good lord! (Poking fun at another poster)

[Nittering Nabob]

So far, so good. Impressive blocking and tackling leading to big plays.
