Yeah, a really encouraging trend.

Painter went 7 shut-out innings today vs D-Backs, allowed just 2 hits, had 6 K's and gave up 0 Walks.

Unfortunately, the offense was just not there, with the exception of Bryce Harper, who got on 3 times with 2 walks and a Single.

In his 7 starts since coming back to the majors, Painter has a 3.13 ERA.

Why is Turner playing every day? His hitting is terrible and he is one of the worst shortstops in the league. Sosa would be an improvement.

His career average is .291. He’s gone through a long slump before and broke out in dramatic fashion. He will eventually regress back to the mean, even if that mean is now more like .285.

@GregPickel and I had tickets for tomorrow’s game and of course we had to pawn them off because of the Penn State game.

Love our jobs, don’t get me wrong, but man, there are 180+ days in a baseball season and of course our tickets fell the same day as Matt Campbell’s first game.
