Why does all store bought salsa suck absolute a$$

You can go to a Mexican restaurant in Podunksville, Iowa and get incredible salsa yet everything that is on grocery stores is just straight trash. Why damnit?!

major first problem that has bothered me for years

I love mexican food and part of the reason I take the family nearly once a week is because of this issue

I’d agree that generally Mexican restaurant salsa is much better. Unless they make it with too much tomatoes. Any salsa that you can clearly taste the tomato is clear garbage. Same goes for cilantro, do not all too much or it is all you will taste.

Salsa is best prepared absolutely fresh, knife only, and consumed immediately,.... That's the difference.
