Abortion up to the point of birth is mainstream democrat policy these days. 10 states now allow for this absolutely disgusting policy and it needs to end.

Don't be a snowflake.
I am generally pro choice but this is completely disgusting. What possible justification do you have for allowing the murder of children at the moment of their birth?

SAY ABORTIONS ARE FUNNY
Which procedure did your ***** daughter use to kill her babies?

Suction Curettage: The suction pulls the fetus’ body apart and out of the uterus. The doctor may also use a loop-shaped knife called a curette to scrape the fetus and fetal parts out of the uterus.

Dilation and Evacuation (D&E): Once the cervix is stretched open the doctor pulls out the fetal parts with forceps. The fetus’ skull is crushed to ease removal. A sharp tool (called a curette) is also used to scrape out the contents of the uterus, removing any remaining tissue.

Dilation and Extraction (D&X) (partial-birth abortion): Grasping a leg with forceps, the doctor delivers the fetus up to the head. Next, scissors are inserted into the base of the skull to create an opening. A suction catheter is placed into the opening to remove the brain. The skull collapses and the fetus is removed.

Because this is no different than many states have done post-Dobbs, but you righties need something — anything —- to run on. So let’s gin up the abortion wars again.
I’m pretty sure we were told there would be a blue wave because of the abortion wars in the last two elections. Who was ginning it up then?

You mean pro-choice groups were for years warning people to vote for Dems because Republicans would confirm Supreme Court judges who would overturn 50 year old legal precedent to satisfy the religious right?

Those nuts! What idiots they were to think that!

Why don’t they just pass a law then versus relying on legal precedent? The legislature has abdicated their responsibility to the people. Both sides.

I love it when people discuss issues from "both sides" It does seem as if there is always more than one side of a debate....which is basically the definition of debate...

What does OP think this law is going to unleash in MA?
doctors and patients being able to make decisions on the health of the mother without restrictions from state law (OH NO!)

one example, cited in the article i linked above:

Kate Dineen and her husband Alex Lawton recalled the journey they took to Washington, D.C. in 2021, when Dineen was 33 weeks pregnant and learned her baby had suffered a stroke in utero.

"He would either die or survive for some period of time with a spectrum of devastating outcomes. And so upon learning of the prognosis, I asked, 'What are my options?' And I will never forget the response. 'You may still be able to explore termination if you're able to travel,'" Dineen said. "Travel where? We were standing in our kitchen in Boston, just less than a mile from some of the best hospitals in the country."
