Why did I venture over here… this is the dumbest most uneducated thread I ever seen. How many men or trans are currently playing in the W? Why is a non issue or something that has never happened being discussed like it’s a problem? I thought Sophie said keep it about basketball. Let’s talk about her great three points she has scored in the past two games.

It is a national news story and people like to discuss the news. When the WNBA said they would allow Trans to play in their league anyone with a brain knew this was coming.

Was the WNBA thinking about women who trans to men when they opened their arms to trans. Or was it men who declared they were women. They made the statement, so here we are.

lol. He called others uneducated and has no idea what’s going on. “There’s no men in the WNBA derp derp” He thinks this is just a WNBA issue. Weak men like him are why it took the IOC so long to act. They want the condemnation of this behavior silenced because they approve the behavior.

Remember, “I don’t think men should play in women’s sports” is what was too much for these nutjobs to handle. The aftermath of those simple words was absolutely insane and there are grown men defending it.

Somebody with mod powers is taking a hatchet to this thread.
Hopefully not.

To pretend that you can have sports conversations without a political aspect in that is ridiculous. Everything has been politicized now. Any mod attempting to try to keep those two worlds juxtaposed is probably not dealing in reality. Thankfully they''ve let this one continue, but I'm pretty sure I know who tattle tales to the mods anytime they read a thread like this (and to be clear, it's not you).

The issue isn’t men playing in the W. The issue is whether or not that’s a path the league should go down.

The issue is whether or not a Women’s organization should be even entertaining the idea of replacing WOMEN with men!

Waiting until something actually happens is the big issue.

This is a basketball and sports forum. The Sophie, trans, WNBA story is a basketball and sports story worthy of discussion.

It’s national news cause dimwits are making a big deal about something that isn’t happening. The WNBA has never stated they would allow trans players. In 30 years it has never been a trans player. I’m the weak man but people in this thread are celebrating two grifters tryna garner attention by declaring for something they aren’t able to play in. I thought it’s protect women’s sports. Why is Kanter being celebrated?

Sophie had to find something to cling to since she’s a mediocre basketball player known for sleeping with the owner of one of her previous teams. No one from the league office has ever entertained replacing women with men.

Sophie is a woman who doesn’t want to see opportunities taken from women by men.

She isn’t clinging to anything. Every sane girl and woman doesn’t want men taking over their sports.

This isn’t some niche issue that she started.

Who cares how talented she is?! Every league at every level is full of mediocre talent!

The issue and discussion isn’t whether or not she’s an all star.

Every industry and normal job is full of mediocrity.

It’s called the bell curve.

There is the exceptional. The below average and Everyone in between.

Who cares who she sleeps with?! She’s pretty and young. In her prime as a young woman. Of course dudes are trying to get with her.

Again, boss/owner sleeping with someone not all that uncommon throughout society.

That’s a great role model for girls and young women sleep with your boss when you’re mediocre in your career. It’s great you’re encouraging that behavior. How many men have played in the W? Zero.

No I decided to join the stupidity in this thread.
I hope you get thrown out of the thread since you said everyone that’s posted in it is beneath your level of intelligence (Laughable). Go bury your head in your Mum”s arms and cry the day away.

Tolerant but not really.

You’re the one crying not me. This whole thread is crying about nonsense. Apparently CC and Sophie are victims and men are taking over the W.

Give me a break. I have no problem with CC she’s a great player. She’s just not the best like her cult says she is. Most people don’t have a problem
Why are her fans an issue?

We live in a day and age where identity politics is destroying everything. CC is a Catholic girl from the midwest who wisely keeps he mouth shut politically. She also dominated the college level at historic levels and earned that fan support based on what she did in college alone. She's a relatable girl next door who doesn't post on IG every three seconds with three inch nails or one inch eye lashes or a clown wig.

Most of her fans are simply looking for traditional feminine athletic normality in a day and age where half of the WNBA is lesbian or looks like 1st Century circus performers.

The notion that some people resent all of that is a huge tell from where their mindset is at socially.

So we have rumors that she slept with a man?

Goodness gracious, ya don't say!?!?

Meanwhile, the girl that smashed her face with a cheap shot (after almost taking CC's eye out last year with her three inch nails) is factually known to have had her ex girlfriend cheat with members of the league.

And we wonder why most Americans find Sophie more relatable, eh?

Name the men that are in women’s sports? Tell me the men that are playing or have played in the W?
There’s as many men currently in the WNBA as there should be. The league commissioner is putting together a task force to “preserve” the integrity” of their game but you’re probably right, everyone should just keep their mouths shut until it becomes a big problem. That will probably work out better.

Sophie damn near took Jacy Sheldon’s head off where was the outrage? Clark fouled Canada for the Dream the same way I didn’t see people complaining about assault. You couldn’t even spell nails correctly dimwit. Let’s celebrate sleeping with married men.

Yet you’re worried about other women appearances and other people’s sexuality: if you’re a bigot just say that. She’s not the first straight white woman to play in the WNBA. When congress and the government are making statements about a league because of one persons fans then it’s a problem. Your micro aggressions show me what kind of person you’re. CC should tell her teammate to shut up and dribble. The best player in the W is straight.
“I think men shouldn’t play in women’s sports”. Again, this was in a response to being asked a question.

Obviously those radical words are just too much for some folks.

Yeah, I had a typo. Maybe I'll put "you're" at the end of a sentence like you did, professor.

Your micro aggressions show me what kind of person you’re.

None of you actually care about this like you're putting on and I'm still wondering why folks here are so upset and mad over something that hasn't happened. No one has actually answered that one. If we were in the middle of football and basketball seasons, this wouldn't be the talk of the board, so to speak. Just so silly.

I dare you to post a link to back up this claim.

WHEN did the WNBA ever say it “would allow trans to play in the league”?

Yeah that’s a great take.

Everyone worry about a grown woman having a relationship with a grown man.

Once again you’ve failed to understand what the issue is.

Sophie did not come out against men currently playing in the W. She came out and took the position that Men shouldn’t be allowed to.

You’re really not understanding what the issue is and what people are trying to discuss.

The issue is also not the sex lives of working professional adults.

The issue is also not talent level.

You keep detouring.

Just like women should stay out of men’s sports. Sophie should not have been the kicker for her high school football team. People are bringing politics into something that’s not happening. Let’s make a non issue an issue because it’s nothing else to do.

What are you upset about? Sophie taking a cultural stand for girls? You triggered by that? Or have you been offended by her personal life all along and we just missed that thread?

Your gaslighting doesn't work anymore. There absolutely are cases of men playing in women's sports. The reason it doesn't happen more, is because people speak out against it. Are there men in the WNBA now? No. But if we all stay silent, there absolutely will be. And then when we speak up, you'll play the "it's less than 1% lolz derp derp" card. This is how you operate. You did the same thing with homosexuals. First it was, they just want to be treated like everyone else and be normal. Cool. Most of us got behind that. But that's not what you really wanted. Now there's a month long celebration with pride flags in the schools and parades of half naked degenerates walking the streets. We know what you'll do when left to your own devices and we aren't backing down anymore. So you can F right off.

Three strawman posts in one thread. The Hall Monitor is rare form. Why not just make your damn case rather than running around constantly characterizing others’?
