This is a total bullsh-t statement. Trump never tried to blow Iran off the map. If he did, no power would exist in Iran. Try some honesty. Trump and our military could wipe out Iran within a week if he wanted to.

You act like the U.S., Oman or UAE controlled the Strait before the war and that's simply not true. Iran has always controlled the Strait. The thing that changed is that they started blocking traffic.
I've been clear from the beginning that I opposed Trump's decision to attack Iran. The difference between me and a lot of liberal lunatics is that I don't believe everything in the middle east was wonderful under the JCPOA. I strongly believe that Iran continued to develop nuclear weapons during that program. Inspectors were only allowed to visit predetermined sites and even then Iran required a 24 day advance notice.

That said your comment that "some people in the United States could have used that money" is a ridiculous liberal talking point. Nobody lost their social welfare over this war. It just added to the deficit which could now be $1.94 trillion instead of $1.9 trillion.
