Course playing too easy especially today. With very little wind and slow soft greens its yielding too many birdies for a major. Hope they make the greens lightening fast sunday. .
Not a Bryson fan but the hate he is getting is crazy, kind of hope he wins now.
Like Rory, Tiger and all of them have gotten hit with penalties. Golf has some of the most tedious dumb rules that can be interpreted different ways at times. He wasn't the only one stomping around in the hay.

Knowing the rules makes a difference. One played by the rules, the other blatantly did not.

I actually like Bryso but he knew EXACTLY what he was doing when get got to the ball. I know I've dont a thousand times myself and have much more expereince being there than Bryson. You walk up like your just trying to make your way around to get a good look at you line but every step is strategic an exaggerated to make sure your planting that foot as solid as you can on as much grass as possible. Even his last step to take his stance he got stomped more grass to feed Secretariat. Thats why he protested like he did, its what we all do when we no we're caught, we play the victim over the top.

When I saw Bryson first address the ball, I thought it was a bad look. I thought it was a worse look by Rory whining. He seems to get a pass because of his “cute little accent”.

1. R&A admitted they got the tip from outside sources which violates their bylaws. This is a bullish.it penalty.
2. Rory blasting Bryson in public also violates their rules and he should be punished and could be DQ’d.

Some of you haters bagging on Bryson are total idiots. He’s an overachiever who is a two time major champion and a purveyor of golf worldwide. His only sins are taking a check from LIV and playing a round of golf with Trump. Anything else is common to many top golf pros. You guys are petty and small.
The greatest thing about Bryson is that he has my kids watching him and Horvath on youtube instead of the garbage they used to gravitate to. Wish he would ditch LIV so we could watch him every weekend, he is always entertaining.

Fox was locked in, gotta love his attitude and determination despite a few bad breaks. Getting a birdie on 18 with those circumstances is an incredible way to win a major.

BDC improved his position imo, it's unclear to me whether it was intentional or careless. It seems a bit of a reach to make the move to assess the penalty IMO. The whole thing is pretty gray imo.
The rule seems to simply be, 'did you improve your position', intent doesn't seem to matter except in the court of public opinion of bryson. I do think he improved his position. would they have assessed against Rory? idk.
