The democrats knew that Platner had sexual assault allegations and were fine with them, up until about a week ago.
What changed?
The new rape allegations made things even worse, but here’s what wasn’t being told publicly.
Platner’s support with women was ALREADY collapsing.
That’s why Elizabeth Warren was trying to convince women that Platner “was her kind of man.”
But now you are seeing the entire democrat party, along with their biggest supporters in the media, quickly throw Platner under the bus and demand he withdraw from the race.
They desperately need to replace him in the Senate race and they only have a week to do it.
But here’s the little secret that nobody is telling anybody.
I bet the internal polling is causing a massive panic in the democrat party.
The democrats were never going to win the Senate race in Maine and what’s worse, Platner is hurting the entire democrat party with the female vote.
He’s ALREADY a complete drag on the female vote and now the new rape allegations are going to make things far worse.
My bet is they quickly throw up a female candidate in Maine to limit the damage already inflicted.
So basically it's taken all but a day for Democrats to totally turn on Platner. Meanwhile 10 years later with the Republicans and Trump...
