It is. But that same replay is the one that gave us the red card last night when plenty of players have done the exact same thing and haven’t gotten anything or a replay either.

I am assuming that you would put in a blue line similar to hockey. Where would YOU draw the line on the field? and how do you think it would effect style of play?
Yeah, similar to hockey and you could just put it halfway between midfield and that super huge insane goalie box.
How would it effect it? I assume that it would make it easier for the teams to know if that giant huge goal they just scored will count or not.
I am trying to think how ridicules it would be for hockey to not have that blue line...it would be pure madness.
There have been many experiments in a variety of leagues regarding a fixed offsides line and also modifying numbers of defenders etc... dating all the way back to the 1920's

In hockey, a player is either offside - based on where the puck is - or he isn't. Hockey doesn't have the offside trap - thank God.

I would think they would want some time to adjust to the altitude, Mexico City's elevation is over 7,300 feet.
