Bullcrap we don't know. I've been saying the get down by 20 then come back was suspicious. Oweh was accused of gambling all year. It's definitely a concern. But when people say it in real time you are called crazy.

How many times did we get down 20 and come back. I think this is a lot more common than people realize. I've been saying these guys are in with vegas. I don't even believe his foot was broke to be honest.
Wrong. None of these morons can keep a secret. You’re giving them way too much credit.

I still have the messages with my brother complaining that he single handedly cost me my bet. The line was 31, UK was up 35 with a minute to go and he came in firing the most atrocious 3’s. UK ended up winning by 29 and not covering. The reason given was he was 3 points away from 1000 and his family was there to see him that game. It was one of the weirdest last minute of a Kentucky blowout that I had ever seen.

Check the end of the game when he came in.

Now I can't help but think about that game where he just kept jacking up shots in Rupp against whatever small school it was.

As I watched I was like that just isn't something I've ever seen at UK. I remember half the board was pissed and half was like aw it don't matter we were up by 20.

Of course Yahoo headline reads former Kentucky guard when he last played at Cincinnati and is more known for his time at Arizona.
See? Kentucky is still a name that gets clicks lol. Maybe they changed it but I googled his name and a Yahoo article says "Ex-Arizona Wildcats player..." SI says a former Cincinnati guard. The WV sites say a West Virginia player. And the UK sites say Former Kentucky guard. If you didn't know basketball you'd be wondering why every site has this guy as a former player at several schools.

Maybe it changes by region. I have seen numerous article mention all the schools now, but the first one I came across was this one.

They're trying to embarrass the University of Kentucky for clicks, as usual. And of course this happened to him while preparing for TBT, too.... Our luck, I guess.

Gotcha. There it says story by SBNATION. An article I saw from Yahoo says it's by AZCentral and shows him running on the court in AZ gear. But in the article it has the tweet from Pilgrim and he has ties to UK so Pilgrim's tweet and story has a UK slant, as you'd expect. Anyway, I'm just glad he's not around KY anymore if all this is true.

Certainly they had to have busted more than him. Typically this sort of stuff involves multiple players and individuals.. Then again, maybe Krissa was the only one dumb enough to yap about it on the phone or in-person.

That's a reach. He zero'd in the first 2 free throws he took that gave him his first 2 pts. The first 2 jumpers were off but not that bad, They looked like legit scoring attempts chasing the 1K pt mark. The last one was indeed terrible, but I dont think he did anything in this game that got him free coffee from the FBI interrogation room. It will all come out in the court proceedings.

From A Sea Of Blue:

Former Kentucky Basketball guard and recent La Familia TBT addition Kerr Kriisa has been arrested by the FBI in connection with a multimillion-dollar fraud scheme, according to Jack Pilgrim of KSR.

Kriisa, who recently completed his final college season at Cincinnati, was expected to suit up for La Familia in The Basketball Tournament before beginning his professional career. However, those plans have been halted following his arrest, with reports stating the case dates back to his time at West Virginia during the 2023–24 season.
Authorities are reportedly extraditing Kriisa back to West Virginia, where he is scheduled to appear in court next week.

The 6-foot-3 guard spent one season at Kentucky during the 2024–25 campaign, appearing in nine games before suffering a foot injury that ended his season prematurely. He averaged 4.4 points, 3.8 assists, and 2.4 rebounds per game for the Wildcats, highlighted by a strong outing against Gonzaga in which he scored eight points and added four assists.

Prior to his time in Lexington, Kriisa played a key role at West Virginia, where he averaged 11.0 points and 4.7 assists per game while starting all 23 appearances. He also had multiple standout scoring performances, including a 25-point game at Kansas State and a 23-point outing against BYU.

Kriisa began his college career at Arizona, where he established himself as one of the Pac-12’s top playmakers, leading the conference in assists in back-to-back seasons and recording multiple triple-doubles.
No additional details regarding the charges have been released at this time.

Its because you guys are viewing the article on A Sea of Blue on SBNation, which is....drumroll.....A KENTUCKY SITE.

Not everything is some grand conspiracy by the legacy media to get Kentucky, and I absolutely loathe the media as much as anyone. But some critical thinking goes a long way. JFC

The article isn't on their national page at all.

It isn't on their college basketball page at all. In fact the last article they have about Kentucky on there is from May and concerns recruiting.

If you take the time and look at the Arizona and West Virginia pages, to absolutely no one's surprise, their headline is "Former Arizona...." and "Former Mountaineer...."

/Rant.
