Everything became more expensive for every one due to Covid, democrats and republicans alike. And yes, in hindsight, Covid was overblown by EVERYONE, not just democrats. And when the public’s health and safety are at risk, I’d prefer the government err on the side of conservatism. Hindsight is 20-20. I don’t recall the republican outrage on vaccines and hand sanitizer. It was more directed at the Chinese for unleashing the virus on the world.

It is a FACT that he instructed Moderna and Pfizer to expedite the manufacturing and approval process to half the normal timeline, if not less, to get the vaccines out as quickly as possible. Bypassing many of the normal, critical steps/phases performed when developing a vaccine. It was this rushed testing and approval approach that gave many Americans pause and concern that the vaccine wasn’t safe. He wanted to be the hero and show the American people how powerful he was and how only he could get it done this quickly. All it did was raise concern and angst among the public.
