Does E-Trade offer IPO placement for retail?
Looks like yes. Need to fill out a investor profile questionnaire. I've never tried it though.

They also have something called equityzen in which you can get in on late stage private equity. Need to have $1mil in net value, which if they include my house I think I qualify for. Haven't tried this either.

The little guy getting crowded out again! But probably a good thing.

The constant social media buzz about “SpaceX is only 2x oversubscribed, ARM was 10x and Reddit was 5x!” has been hilarious. The fact that they’re oversubscribed at a $75b raise is insane when these other companies were at $1-5b

I’m in for one share of the IPO, which was my awarded allocation.🤣 To the moon!🚀🌛
SpaceX will be added to index funds in short order, however…so the passive money is going to spacey stuff.

Betting that “this time will be different” is never a great idea. That said SpaceX does have a few things that make it very different from previous IPO’s. Elon, the fact that it’s a much older company (24 years) than the traditional ipo and the new index inclusion rules all may work in its favor. Personally still not buying, will just wait for my Tesla shares to convert when they merge.

Gold and Silver popped nicely on the latest ending of the Iran war.

The precious metals trade has been in the doldrums. If the conflict is truly over is it time to get back in to those trades?

might as well throw copper into that question too.

I decided not to get involved with SPACEX. At least in the early going, I made the wrong call.

Listening to Gundlach on CNBC yesterday and their review of Warsh's statements was inflation continues to linger and Warsh is not going to let it just hang around.

Price stability was a definite focus.

CRWV has bounced bace nicely from it's dip into the $90's a week and a half ago.

But it does have to contend with a lower highs lower lows thing it has going on the last couple months.

Back below $180.

Do consider the Russel and the Nasdaq will be buying in withing the next couple weeks. Something along the lines of 25-30% of the current float.

While conversely stock lockups begin to expire in late July where the float will rise from the current 555mil shares to 750-900. And then Oct where the float jumps to above 2 bil shares. And then Dec where it jumps to 7B. Yes the indexes will continue to buy, but the non index float jumps by10x or something like that.

So maybe a short term bump as the indexes buy in.

But I'm not looking to long term hold that thing while that much supply is about to be released.

WTI down to $73 ish.

Some thought that there will continue to be pressures on the price, but it's so far off the boil I don't think it's a major headwind.

Uh oh, PLTR breaking below $130.

Precious metals not looking good either on the back of Warsh's comments.

No worries. Our President can post on social media that he's bullish on them, as well as anything else he's holding. Apparently, it is completely legal for him to do so.

Anyone in any of these? Seems a few months too late. I thought the same thing about Sandisk though when it was $330
