Would love to get this done today. We're the away team again tomorrow, if it comes to that. So much for being the higher seed, right?
Really only need 3-4 strong out of Folger or a combined 6 out of he and Rose since the bullpen is fresh. Anything more is gravy. Need the bats to wake up a little, too.
Cole looks like he relies on off-speed. Hopefully our guys will be patient and not try to overpower his pitches.
As has been made clear, if Carolina is going to win the title, they will need additional pitchers to set up and make impactful contributions. Does that start today with Boaz? Let’s hope Carolina doesn’t mess around with a cushion and ends it today.
Need to get on the board in the first inning to put pressure on WVU and take some off of Folger.
