It's possible, algae is quite hardy. It can also spread easily through airborn particles. It's why fish tanks get algae even if they're brand new or just cleaned.
The stretch here is that there is no possible way that no one before Biden was having algae blooms in the reflecting pool.
I guarantee if it happened under Biden and Trump, it happened under Obama, it happened under Bush, Clinton, and all the way back to when it was built.

Substitute reflection pool for DOGE, city sweeps, Iran war, whatever. Rinse, repeat, same result. I’ve said it before, I’m not against all of Trump’s policies and ideas - it’s the fact that he and his cronies can’t execute worth a sh*t that makes him and those that gimp for him fools.

You think gas is $1.98 and that affordability is a "hoax". You think Trump was working as an undercover operative in the Epstein world to bring them all to justice. You think chemtrails are real.
I have not spent much time reading about this, but I have seen some reports indicating that perhaps the biggest single problem is that the bottom of this reflecting pond is lined with large concrete slabs that do not align very well. As a result, there are, or at least were, some pretty large gaps between the slabs, and that caused the reflecting pond to leak pretty severely. This firm that either Trump or his Interior Secretary brought in (Trump started out, weeks ago, claiming it was his "pool guy," who had done a fantastic job rehabbing the pool at his club (the one in New Jersey, I presume), but has recently been saying that "Interior" hired this company, and he does not know them), apparently proposed a fix that simply did not work, so I do not know what they ended up doing. I did not see any concrete getting pumped in, or any concrete forms being laid out. Just a bunch of plastic.
Also, query what the source is for all of that water they needed to pump in to fill up the reflecting pond. Was it chlorinated water? Was it treated in any way to prevent algae growth?
I DO find it pretty amusing that some MAGA faithful are claiming it was a "vast leftwing conspiracy" that resulted in the reflecting pool getting contaminated.
I only watched half of the video. I kept thinking it would eventually shine through that it was a gag, and someone pretending to be a MAGAt. Then I realized it was just your core Trump voters living in their own little world.
Nearly 100% of them believed in aspects of pizzagate/qanon the first go around too. Lower your expectations accordingly.
Science is not a friend to MAGA. Looks like a did my own research project to me.
