When this stuff happens in other cities (and one in particular), many people on here waste no time creating threads about it.
The same can’t be said when it happens in NYC, it’s usually silence.
I kinda figured there would be no thread on this vile behavior and nope, there wasn’t.

At least I have never attempted to defend or explain this type of behavior / criminal activity like we’re seeing in these countless videos over the past week around MSG.
I have always said there are scumbags everywhere, and this stuff happens in other cities but for some reason it doesn’t get ever the attention like it does it another city.
So when it happens in another city, it’s the fans.

We mostly agree. There are just MORE scumbags in Philly than anywhere else, and that is in a second or third-rate smaller city. Not justifyin', just sayin'.

First, there are 9.5 million people in the NYC boroughs. Not making excuses for morons , but there are going to be many in that environment. Secondly, I’m very glad I grew up when I did in the ‘70’s and early ‘80’s. If there were cameras everywhere and 24/7 news shows like today I would have been in big trouble back then.

As for what is happening in NYC - I only said- it isn't like anyone wearing a spurs jersey was being attacked. And that I saw one video of one of your specific video's where the guy that got attacked, wasn't exactly as innocent as it seemed. It doesn't give a mob the right to do what they did but the guy was not just walking down the street.

This thread is silly. There is no scumbag census quantifying the percentage of scumbags in a given fanbase. What these incidents prove is that, unfortunately, scumbags are everywhere and in every fanbase. I honestly think there are groups of people who don’t care at all about the sport and use these events as an opportunity to destroy stuff and hurt others.
