Even though we weren't doing much with them, those early long at bats were huge. Happy for Forbes and the guys!
I think the guy who will be pitching is their Ace. I really like their leadoff guy Guzman, he had a straight steal of home today

I switched over in the 6th inning to Tar Heel Sports Network for my play by play. Seemed to light a fire under the Heels. Starting off that way Sunday night.

They beat a Kentucky that didnt deserve to be in, beat Cal Poly and Beat Troy. They’re good but we’ve played much better opponents this offseason. Much better
Ditto. Nicholson deserves a ton of credit for that. HE had some awesome ABs. Walked twice and got hit. Didn't get a hit but was on 3 times. And he's due for a tater soon. He's just missed the last two games.

What’s the best place on Franklin to watch the game Sunday night? We have to head to Chapel Hill late afternoon because my daughter has orientation Monday and Tuesday.
Just fantastic to see the bats get rolling late. We needed that so bad. Has been our Achilles in the CWS. Major props to DeCaro and Clauber after that first at bat.
There are quite a few folks that obviously don't pay any attention to baseball until somebody mentions to them that the Heels made it to Omaha and then they jump on the game thread and whine about everything that doesn't go perfectly. Well y'all can leave any time you like and you won't be missed.

I said once and I will say it again. I love the focus of this team when we are down. I seems like they play better under pressure. Down 3 and under 7th inning stretch, I'm riding with my boys. They don't know how to quit
