Just my opinion but I think he'll get some starts this year. But I'm not sure he'll start to begin the year. Getting your first 2 varsity starts against Crest & KM would be incredibly tough. If he starts any this year, I'm sure they'll want to ease him in. But again, just my opinion. But he will be a really special QB by the time it's all said and done in 4 years.
Burns WR core this year will be something else and I'm not sure anyone outside of Crest has enough talent in the DB room to cover them all.
Burns will have speed all over the field. Especially at WR, RB & DB
From what I’m hearing, all 4 of you are going to be extremely strong. Get to see 3 of you in person. Should be fun.

The Dawgs will be the first opponent to play in Kings Mountain’s newly renovated John Gamble Stadium. That will be an exciting night when the dawgs come to town.
Saw Max a few weeks ago when Cramer played Burns in baseball and he looked good. I didn’t think he looked smaller, but then again that was in a baseball uniform.

Does Cleveland county school not care at all that Crest does this? Are kids allowed to move in that county this easy? If a kid moves in Cabarrus it’s all kinds of home checks, home visits, and paperwork.
I have a cousin that lives in Rock Hill, big time South Pointe fan, we were talking a while back and he said, they see one they want they bring them in by any means necessary... I ask what that meant, he said, houses, cars etc.... I thought he was kidding...but no sir dead fact he said...He even named a couple and told about the houses their parents lived in to get the player in
Crest is our version of that....
I don’t see how any could be proud of that. We all wonder why HS sports is being ruined and the proof is right there in front of us. The big 3 ( Hough, Grimsley, and Crest) will be celebrated at the end of the season and truly earned nothing…other coaches got those kids ready for them.

That playoff run the defense stepped it up big time... Went to Brevard and held Manny Deshauters in check, then Haywood and crew down at High Point Central with a fake punt late ..... 98Champion was part of that team as the starting center.... they went on a run then dominated Tarboro in the title game with an opening kickoff where Mario Camp nailed the returner who fumbled.... fun fact Mario's son Markalen is starting LB for Burns in this his senior season....Great family
Because he wasn’t on the team last year. His last recorded stat was from his Sophmore year. He was dismissed from the team before it started. We didn’t lose anything. He was working out with Bessemer City last week. We lost nothing with this move. I doubt Crest is in a predicament that they needed a new DE that hasn’t played in two years so good luck to him finding playing time but we will be just fine.
