Yeah. Where is the team that forced USC to throw 100+ pitches by the fourth inning yesterday?
I am just not getting this approach to hitting this pitcher.
Especially when this ump has such a small strike zone. That should be hitter advantage
Maybe he can get one last failed bunting chance before the season ends

Johnson doesn’t seem to be throwing anything particularly hard or tricky. He’s just been around the strike zone and we’re not doing much with it.
Got to give credit to Glauber. He continues to grind. Encouraging for next year.
The coaching staff has not set our batters up for success, and it’s not the first season they’ve failed to do that in June. Guys just go up there and hack away and try to win the game with one swing over and over again. At some point there has to be some self-evaluation and adjustment.

Forbes comes out that will be it for Caden Glauber. An outstanding performance by the freshman in this game three, winner-take-all finale. He recorded a career high 11 Ks, the only Diamond Heel pitcher to reach the double digits in strikeouts since Jake Knapp agasint Miami (10).

Glauber exits. He did everything needed of him. He just has no offensive support at all.

This year the lineup has performed to what I thought it was back in March. It got disguised most of the year by crappy ACC pitching (which you saw all over the country during regionals).
Yep - it showed early in the season and has not really progressed - there have bits and pieces of signs of life but this is wrong time of year to revert - 6 outs left at the plate - go time

firing our hitting coach for one game. You do realize we are the only program in the country to host 3 straight supers. And have been top 5 basically all of the last three years. I get it’s frustrating but come on
