It is baseball. There is a reason it is really hard to make it to Omaha.
Baseball is really unpredictable. There’s a reason why there was 2 three seeds and a 4 seed in the super regionals. USC has a better ERA than we do and have been really hot offensively. We were not a major favorite by any means
Our approach by some of our batters is that they’ve hit 20 HRs this year. Maybe go backside on some of the shifts if you’re hitting under .300, or just hit line drives. Our approach is trying to hit a 7-run home run.

There are some hitters that have played a complete disappearing act all weekend
There are 3 hitters in it who have any real pro interest. There’s a reason for that.
That's been a problem for Carolina almost every year for the last 12-15 years. We lack the same things every year - left-handed pitching depth, power hitting, a quality #3 starter. Really frustrating to have the same problems year after year. Contrast this game to the slugfest in Athens, GA right now. I'm glad DeCaro, Lynch, and Glauber are Grade A college pitchers, but we've had Grade A college pitchers since The Miller-Bard-Woodard team and it always flames out in the postseason.

When you solely focus on pitching and defense, this is what happens when you have no offense. Have to score runs to win games. Great job Forbes, another blown season
Every time I watch these games, I feel like I’m the only fan in the world. Same time last year watching this happen.
