I don't know but maybe Forbes should have had Paulsen take the 3-1 pitch. The pressure was on the pitcher to throw a strike in that situation.

Makes plenty of sense when a pitcher is struggling to throw strikes. 1 more run versus no run. It would only have been strike 2 anyway but who knows? He popped up by swinging on a clearly ball 4.
