How old are you? A gym membership is way cheaper than the ER....
43.
I'm 98% sure my issue is post-migraine related.

Is this wrong?I may have a stroke or brain tumor.
You just diagnosed yourself! The last time I was in a hospital was 2016 because I woke up and the room was spinning...it was vertigo.
Not good bro. Not good.My BP on happy juice 3 minutes ago was 139/89
I hope to be normal by July 4.
He's trying to compete with joel. You have medical issues every week, OP
So, basically went to ER because hypochondriac. Took away resources from patients who might actually need them.
very selfish, OP
BrIan, I mean this to be helpful and not snarky - have you ever considered you might be a hypochondriac?*****Hospital Update*****
Thanks for the healing prayers. I feel strong!
I probably had a lingering effect from a migraine...I'm going to start eating sardines each week which helps.
I give the emergency room and hospital a 9/10 overall.
Now, I wait for the medical bills.![]()
Man, you aint lying. Getting old aint for sissies as my mom would say. I removed the alternator on my POS Jeep Memorial Day to take it in to have it rebuilt. The tensioner was so dadgum difficult I actually pulled/tore a muscle on the right side of my rib cage. Doubt I'd injured myself back in my 30s....as you age and your body gets the normal aches and pains of middle age.
Yeah three weeks ago I f*cked up my wrist trying to change out the propane regulator hose on my Weber grill. The nut was on there so tight I torqued my wrist too much at a weird angle and think I sprained it. I’m not in bad shape, but I am 53 and these things happen.Man, you aint lying. ...no, didn't go to the ER. Just dealing with it.
52 here. Makes me think 62 may not be as fun as I think. LOLYeah three weeks ago I f*cked up my wrist trying to change out the propane regulator hose on my Weber grill. You are costing yourself a substantial amount of money over something that turned out to be a nothing-burger. I sometimes get migraines and they can fell like I am dying. But I guess I never would think to go to the ER.
Anyway, not sure if you ever talk to a therapist, but in all seriousness you should consider it. Otherwise you are going to cost yourself a lot of money as you age and your body gets the normal aches and pains of middle age.
Wait till you get to 7752 here. Makes me think 62 may not be as fun as I think. LOL

Only cost him 10k in the process. So, basically went to ER because hypochondriac. Took away resources from patients who might actually need them.

You spelled therapist wrong.Hot damn! I was about to call an exorcist for you.
Maybe I missed in the streaming consciousness thread where the Dr and Nurse recommended you go to the ER....this seems like a giant waste of your resources and the hospitals
I have to do about 20 minutes of various stretches for my back every morning now just to get normal functionality for walking - and this is AFTER losing 45 pounds and working out 5/6 days a week religiously since February. Kinda frustrating, but part of being in your 50s I guess.Yeah three weeks ago I f*cked up my wrist trying to change out the propane regulator hose on my Weber grill. though of course, we all know that the massive bill will based on 'charges' rather than the substantially lower 'allowable,' and that your cost sharing associated with that much lower allowable will not approach $9500.Luckily, the emergency room was mostly empty.
The hospital will enjoy giving me a massive bill soon with my $9,500 deductible.
I know, I know, you think you're a Ferrari, and just need a lot of adjustments from a team of very fine mechanics.I don't think I'm a hypochondriac.
I went to the emergency room based on recommendation from a doctor and a nurse who said I needed to go there ASAP.
It is posts like this that make me want to drink at 9:30 in the morning.I have to do about 20 minutes of various stretches for my back every morning now just to get normal functionality for walking - and this is AFTER losing 45 pounds and working out 5/6 days a week religiously since February. Separately, given your hypochodria, why in god's name would you select a plan with a 9500 deductible?
Alcohol worsens inflammation, so I've had to cut down on it as well (also helps with the weigh loss regimen). It is posts like this that make me want to drink at 9:30 in the morning.
But then I remember I am getting older and my good friend Gester's Liver ain't what he used to be and being hungover sounds horrible.
I'm 56 and walking from gate to gate at airports has strengthened me. I also lost 30 pounds and being light helps a lot. I'm glad you got checked out @BrianNole777 and I'm elated it was benign.
22 year old Gester would drink until his ankle no longer hurt to walk on just so he could go to the bar without a limp.Alcohol worsens inflammation, so I've had to cut down on it as well (also helps with the weigh loss regimen).
Yeah, I have a really crummy sciatic nerve issue on my right side exacerbated by my pronated gait - and I exacerbate it every night because I tend to bring my knees up toward my chest while I sleep.I'm 56 and walking from gate to gate at airports has strengthened me. Now to kick this @HoggI74 guy's *** in pickleball. Just joking jv.
