Yea we might as well just pack it upBased on their viewpoints, we have no chance. Lol.
As we have often heard, opponents are frequently formidable. If and when we beat them, however, there is little or no time to celebrate (or to get "the Big Head") because we have another waiting in the wings.I think everyone needs to step away and breathe. Let’s stop analyzing every pitch and AB from last weekend, analyze the entire season and make your points from there. Or, just wait until the first few innings are played Friday and go from there. They’re good, we’re good. There’s a reason you play the games.
I definitely wasn’t trying to allude to yall being a certain type of way, just haven’t seen so much anxiety on this board BEFORE we play lolThe point of the show is to share insight into the team and players coming into Boshamer....clearly Carolina can match up against anyone.
I've found with these type shows - across the sports and shows I do - if we say anything positive about the opponent, you see the "might as well pack it up and not show up" posts....happens every time.
I've also found - and this is key - if we short change an opponent, and they beat Carolina, folks are quick to run back and say 'well Tommy and so and so said it would be easy and they lied to or told us wrong and blew smoke up our rear ends'
USC is a good team with very good pitching. So is Carolina. And it's baseball. Anything can and probably will happen.
And Heelium's last line is on point.
Grace is gone?Exceptional show guys. Gonna be another great series at the Bosch. Man, I am sure am gonna miss Grace when she’s gone!

People are acting like they thought we were going to get a path of like Lamar, Milwaukee, Cal Poly to get to the championship if we won the regional.I definitely wasn’t trying to allude to yall being a certain type of way, just haven’t seen so much anxiety on this board BEFORE we play lol
If you would’ve told this board 2 weeks ago that we’d get USC in the super people would’ve been elated. They were impressive last week, but they also dropped the first game to Texas State. Not to mention the fact that other than 3 innings, we cruised through what was supposed to be a really tough regional.People are acting like they thought we were going to get a path of like Lamar, Milwaukee, Cal Poly to get to the championship if we won the regional.
It's the postseason. Have to beat good teams to accomplish your goals. But I'd rather be us than them.
It’s a syndrome that has developed since about 2019. Rough stretches for the revenue sports which has led to an overall doomer mentality even though baseball has been an overall success in that time span and longer.I definitely wasn’t trying to allude to yall being a certain type of way, just haven’t seen so much anxiety on this board BEFORE we play lol

It’s also the annual period where the ledge jumpers visit the baseball board.
I’ve seen enough of this sport to know that you might look like hot stuff one weekend and dog chit the next.
I like us a lot in this one
