I can tell you the prices on the secondary sites are ridiculous - $230 is the lowest out there right now. And I’ve already gotten 2 scam attempts on the Ticket Exchange board. Just looking to take the day off Friday and hit the Bosh with my son, but it’s gonna be a $500+ day trip from Mooresville.
Looks like I’m watching from KSS…

I won’t be there until 3pm on Friday, so hoping to find someone to get in the SRO line for me

Yea no dice for me. My wife works for the school so she gets free tickets anytime we can make it. Works great for last minute decisions and indoctrinating the young ones, not so much for getting postseason tickets

Anybody know what the process is to get into that field hockey stadium and watch or take a lawn chair behind the outfield wall? If somebody knows the deal there, might be worth a shot

I’ve been a Rams Club member since the previous century, bought a lot of season and individual tix, and didn’t make the cut for 2…just 2…cheap seats. I’ll bit the bullet and buy on secondary market, but something just ain’t quite right with the process.

Got my 3 season tickets but no chance I got my 4 extras. The more season ticketholders we attract, the tighter the squeeze on even very high ranking members not getting their “extras”.

I encourage everyone on this message board to get season tickets, it’s totally worth the investment and you can sell some tickets throughout the year to recoup some of your season ticket costs.
I have to say, no disrespect intended, reading a season ticket holder of 3 ordering 4 additional tix doesn’t generate warm and fuzzies for many of us.

2 season tickets in section 103 this year cost about $500 total.

I always order the max because I have a lot of friends who love baseball. For regionals that means I usually have 7 tickets to work with to help friends (or occasionally strangers on IC) out. For Supers, just my 3 season tickets.

The process works as intended. Putting season ticketholders at the front of the line, with Rams Club priority next, strikes a perfect balance and rewards the people that invest in the program in the regular season. Buying UNC baseball season tickets is the best deal going. Super cheap and massive benefits.

I understand, and I’ve been a Rams Club member and FB season ticket holder 1986. I get it. I share hoops season tix with a friend, but unfortunately don’t get those points. I guess I’ve considered buying baseball season tickets and reselling the 20+ games I can’t attend (being in Charlotte), but somehow that feels like I’m adding to the access problem. Clearly there are fellow Rams Club members attempting to resell “extras” for 5-10 times the price. That doesn’t seem like a “perfect balance.”

Weekend room is booked, so my wife and I will be there one way or another.

Sounds like me for final 4 tix in 2005 and 2009.. finally got some in 2016 and 2017 and every year since..graduated in 1998.. just takes time.. the process is what it is.. every fan is and should be valued but in an environment where programs need money the RC will reward the people that give or have given the most. If your buying season tickets or individual tix in football and basketball to maybe get postseason baseball tix I think you are buying them for the wrong reason..if your buying season baseball tix then you should have gotten tix for the supers. you would be much better off not buying them( FB and BB tix)and just buy postseason baseball tix but i suspect you, like me, enjoy going to those games so theirs value in that. Just my 2 cents

First come first serve.

Friday I’ll be arriving right at first pitch due to 3+ hour drive and half day of work.

I’m hoping to find someone willing to hop in the SRO line for me

The biggest issue to me in the postseason is that the face value of the tickets is way too low. Like 2-3x too low. The face value for a Super Regional game shouldn’t be $25 in the year 2026 when we know dang well the market value is $150-250 depending on the opponent and game time etc.

I’m not complaining about paying a smaller price for face value. But I also don’t think it’s some grave injustice to pay say $150 for a Super Regional game, given what’s at stake. Especially with how small our ballpark is and how we’ve ramped up the demand the last few years by putting a consistently excellent product on the field.

If/when we join the SEC in a few years, I’m sure an expansion of the ballpark will be a topic of discussion if we keep up the success and the demand continues to grow. Having hot tickets for annual postseason Super Regionals is a damn good problem for any program to have!

If I can take a cooler out there, I can be there pretty dang early 😎

If I can’t get a ticket for Saturday, I might just stand/sit out there behind the wall and try and give the grilling dude some money for food.

Has anyone that didn’t get tickets tried calling the USC ticket office? A big reason super ticket locations for non season tickets are much worse (if you get them) is having to provide 600 tickets to opponent versus 200 in regionals. I highly doubt USC sells 600 tickets so wonder where they end up.

Outstanding idea here. If I was on the hunt for tickets I would be all over this.

Worked for me almost 30 years ago, when Dean was about to break the all-time wins record in Winston Salem in the NCAA regional in 1997. I was able to get 4 tickets from Colorado, and then had to sweat it out that they won their first game, because if they had lost, they wouldn't get tickets for the second round game. Fortunately they won, and I got to see the record-breaking win, along with quite a few other UNC fans. I estimate at least half of the Colorado section was cheering for UNC. :)

I understand it takes time. However, I’m a 40 year RC member (that also gives to assorted campaigns), so I’m running out of time.😉

I’m fortunate enough to be able to afford biting the bullet for season baseball tix, go to the couple of weekend series I can get away, sell/give away the other 2/3 I can’t make, and game the system for guaranteed post season. Again, it feels like that adds to the problem.

Adds to the problem how? You invest in the baseball program via season tickets and they reward you by selling you priority postseason tickets???

I don’t disagree. It just bugs me that the secondary market strongly suggests that people are getting “extras” to sell, not use.

Correct. When face value is so low, then it encourages putting in requests for extras for this purpose. There’s little risk to low face value tickets with high reward.

if tickets were $75-$100, people would be less likely to invest in extras

Replace “problem” with scarcity or whatever. I’m referring to my joining those getting season tix AND getting the priority for up to 4 additional (many of which end up on the secondary market). Again, I get it, and will probably get in on it, thus adding to the scarcity for others.

Definitely a good thought, but their website says no baseball tickets available.
It was a great suggestion, and it worked like a charm! I called the USC ticket office about an hour ago at 213-740-4672, hit option 3 for individual game tickets, and successfully bought tickets. It was super quick and easy and no questions asked. Thank you so much @heels2012

I don’t think there’s a way for you to get a ticket and not increase the scarcity? If you want to go you’re going to bump somebody somehow.

No tickets for me, but, I didn't really expect to get them anyway based on history of the requests. I think I'm finally going to pull the plug on season tickets next year even though it's very hard for me to get to a lot of regular season games.

I'll be looking out for anybody with either 1 or 2 extras for Saturday. If 2, I'll bring my 13 year old son. Told his coach if we're able to get tickets, we're skipping his league game LOL.

I’m going to do the same. I had a crazy Dec/Jan personally and was worried I wouldn’t get to many games and I’d eat a lot of money. I have a friend on this board who paid $245 per season ticket and sold that random Sunday non-conference dook game for like $40 as one example. I think you won’t risk losing a lot even if you can only go to a few.

Everyone should try this when their ticket office re-opens at noon eastern tomorrow. There were empty seats last year in the Arizona section for every game which was frustrating to see

Season ticket holders don’t get priority for extras. They get their season tickets but it goes in order of rams club points for their extras.

The point was about buying tickets ti resell. Not looking to argue. Have a good evening.
Not looking to argue either. Your concern for the greater good is admirable and selfless. I mean that sincerely. Not looking to argue either.

I just don’t see an easy solution.

I also think the rams club resellers are a bit of a bogeyman. There are 11 listings on seat geek right now. The people I know with enough points to get tickets get them for their family or friends. They aren’t motivated to make $800 on post season baseball tickets.

of course there are exceptions. And some probably give to their kids’ friends or to clients and don’t pay attention and don’t notice they get resold. But like I said, unless I’m not looking at it there are only 11 listings.

who knows where those came from. Maybe a well off RCer lost his job. Or is sick and encountered medical bills. Or maybe they’re employee tickets. Who knows. And yes, I’m sure there’s a greedy SOB or 2 that have lots of money and still flipped for unneeded gain. But I bet that’s rare.

Only 1 listing on stub hub? Maybe it’s low inventory because folks haven’t gotten theirs yet? Maybe I spoke to soon
