Good grief. I hope not.

I don’t think we have any reason to doubt the evaluation ability of our coaching staff, especially when it comes to pitching. Didn’t take any last year but the group they brought in ‘24 and ‘25 was: Sprague, Haugh, Chewy, Bolton, Weber, Osteen, and Fischer. That’s 2 great college players and a few more role players.

Everyone is brought in to compete but not that many can have real roles. A senior lefty who just threw 90 innings and had a 79/25 K/BB ratio is no joke.

Probably Fento, but I think it would be a competition at least.
