Super Regional Hosting Rules
If both Cal Poly and Kentucky win their respective Regionals, they would be paired against each other in the Super Regionals. Hosting rights for that best-of-three series would be determined as follows: [1]
- The higher seed hosts: If one team advanced from their regional but had a better national seed or tournament ranking than the other, that team would host. [1, 2]
- NCAA Bidding: If both teams emerged from their regionals as unseeded teams, they would both submit bids to the NCAA to host the Super Regional series. [1]
How embarrassing for UCLA. The parity in college baseball is much closer but still awful to be the one seed and not even make it to supers.
Been a lot of talk this year about the sec being overrated and having to many spots but other than that poverty program to the south of us, and auburn pretty much everyone else has done well so far.

Not to be mean to the kid, but Cloud is one of the worst D1 hitters I've ever seen. He must be a stud at 3rd.

With UCLA getting knocked out today, if we make the Super Regional do we have a chance of hosting?
Overall #1 sewd is still the #1 overall seed for a reason. UCLA plays in the Big 10- without a doubt the worst Power Conference, and its not close.
