Walker has expressed that he actually likes pitching in consecutive games, said it works well for his pitch mix and how he attacks batters also he only threw 13 on Friday and 15 yeserday. Last time he went back-to-back-to-back it was vs BC and he went 42 on Friday, 21 on Saturday and 23 on Sunday
I’m down on Folger, but McDuffie this early with the lead he has is not the call. Bring in Rose, Matty, Skip or Boston. If they can’t throw now, you have to throw them if this doesn’t work. Don’t like this move.

Mcduffie was brought in because it was a high leverage situation and once again he delivered.
Thus far, Scott has pushed the right button every single time.
Boaz coulda gotten a ground ball with a 7 run lead. Not a fan of pulling him with a 7 run lead in the 4th
I’d much rather those guys throw if we’re up 8-1 and we have 9 outs to get than with the bases loaded, 1 out and 17 outs to get.
The at-bat that just happened may end up being the highest leverage AB in the rest of the game. I want my best available guy on the mound for it.

Folger did better than I expected. Wish he could have gone until the 5th, but think we would take this showing from him.

That AB is likely to prove to be the biggest AB of the game for us. Scott decided he wanted to make sure his best available arm was on the mound for it. I don’t have any problem with that at all.
