But how great is this roster starting to shape up, if we get Mom, I will feel like we have a pretty damn good team, for missing on so many players.

Hawthorne being mentioned in the same breath as KD is laughably absurd. I hope he’s good enough to be a valuable contributor to the rotation.

You have probably seen him play a lot more than I. But I see a guy who runs well, passes very well, has a good shot and can play above the rim. If Goose was pining for him to play last year, he will contribute

He was 6’8” and like 180-85. Why did Allen Graves RS for SANTA CLARA??? You have to think that guy could play there as a true frosh. Right? There are clearly good reasons (prior to the 5 in 5 rule).

Guys that are not going pro, can get that extra year of good NIL money, only thing that really makes since, especially if your getting the lady's and making a good check also 🥳

He was rated pretty high like 35 to 38 last year, that's pretty highly ranked, for what we really know about Hawthorne. Sure hope he shows that ranking, and usually the expert high school rankers, know and watch them.

Oh I think he has crazy potential. And I put stock in Goose.

But I’m also pumping the brakes on him being an immediate game changer. If Pope fully believed Hawthorne was THAT ready, I don’t think we’d have Kam Williams and Mom. I think Pope expects it to take some time.
