They certainly seem to have the advantage on the mound to start the game. With DeCaro’s rather short stint on Friday, I wonder if he may be available for 2-3 innings today considering Glauber will not be available. We can’t go to Duffy too early in this game with his 45 count yesterday. We’ve got to find someone to effectively handle the middle innings provided Boaz follows his recent trend of not pitching deep into the game. Who will step up on the mound? I guess we may see a lot of guys including Seagraves, Padgett, Chewey, etc. We need another guy to break through as a reliable reliever to go deep into the NCAA tourney.

I kind of think we're locked into 4 regardless of what happens. I refuse to believe they'll put two ACC teams over an SEC team with at least 25 conference wins.

It’s kind of nice to not worry that much about NCAAT seeding knowing we’ve locked in top 8, and just let today be about competing for a championship. If there’s a trophy on the line and a champion being named, let’s make it be us.

Like everybody else on here today I have wondered if we would see DeCaro today but the more I think about it the more I hope not. I want him as fresh and re-energized as possible when the Regionals start. Of course if he comes in and saves the game for us I won’t be too upset!

I don’t think it would be a bad idea to consider starting Lynch the first game of the regional and saving Jason for game 2

I’m with you. Lynch and Glauber game 1 (which should be the weakest opponent wr face), with a pitch limit on Globe so he could be used again later. But we ain’t Coach Forbes and Coach Forbes ain’t us. He doesn’t like to frick around with his pitching lineups, so I expect DeCaro in the first game.
