I disagree with Kapernicks stance, but respect his right to do so.

There is a direct correlation between the number of trannies and when free speech was returned to twitter. Correlation is not causation, but there is evidence there.

And yes, I believe gender ideology is quack science and any doctor practicing it should have their license removed. It’s akin to prescribing a diet for an anorexic person, it’s malpractice.
Trannies trannies trannies. MAGA is all about the trannies.

You sick weirdos.

Before anyone goes there, this is not an anti-Trump/MAGA Idiot Brigade post. Nor is it challenging 1A rights for people whom we disagree with politically. This post is only intended to generate discussion on social norms, particularly as it relates to the wisdom of being open about political and religious opinions in general, and is therefore NOT a specific polemic against any particular group or movement. Fair enough?

Okay. Here it is: Do we as a society need to return to the days when it was not only polite but common practice for people to withhold their political and religious opinions in public? Obviously, there’s no returning to pre-social media days, but is it time for celebrities or public figures to just refrain entirely from it?

I ask because I believe Jaxson Dart just royally f#cked himself with many of his teammates. And if you are part of the New York Giants organization, that’s a huge problem and headache you really didn’t need.
What did he do?

What are you talking about? How would this be pushing "politics" on anyone? You think the same way about athlete "christians" pushing their faith constantly on the field and off?

Or just when it's muslims or any other creed you don't like or want to discrimate against?

You're really not very smart are you?
I just said Carter will retract from his statement before its all said and done.....duhhhh.

You must of been dropped on your head when you was little based on this statement im guessing.
Dude who mainly posts retweets of adulation for his cult leader is posting this.

But besides the Trump worship, trannies seem to be on the tip of the mind of all you people all the time.

Again, just look at this thread, look at pretty much any of the politics threads around here.

I wish we could go back in time where nobody talked about politics or religion but we're past that point. I think Carter looks worse than Dart here. If you can't handle a teammate supporting a certain political party then I just have to assume you are a mentally weak minded individual with a brittle spirit.

PS I hate Trump as well but politics is very far down the rung of qualities I base individuals off of.

Seriously? Get a life. You cannot be this ignorant. As a Penn Stater, Abdul is an absolute moron. The only headache is from fools like you. Free speech is alive and well thanks to our Bill of Rights. Jesus, some of you need to grow a pair and actually decide to become men, or betas. Ffs, wtf is wrong with you leftist Socialists.

Dart went to Ole Miss. He's probably been surrounded by conservative, country club southern white people his whole life. He's probably not socially aware enough to realize that going on national television to support a very divisive politician, will have blow back. He's probably skated through his entire life, not having any difficult discussions around socioeconomic issues in this country. He's probably going to hear some things that hurt his ego as a result, his work peers may push back. If I worked with him, I would keep my mouth shut about it all, because I'd just want to do my job and get paid. But it does show, as OP pointed out, he's a moron for creating as issue where there wasn't one.

edit: just looked at his wiki, he's from UTAH... oh lawd. Yah i stand by my above statements.
He should just shut up and dribble? Is that what you are saying?

One of this teammates has already publicly taken issue with it. I bet some others have also done so behind the scenes.
No way. Really? So, what should he do, cower like the gutless wonder you are? So, he's not allowed to do what you don't agree with? Right?

My, God, are you beyond ignorant. No state in America has a higher percentage of Blacks than Mississippi. You are the ignorant fool and moron. You also never played real sports and it's rather obvious. If you did, you'd never make such an ignorant post.

Trannies seem to be all they think about. I think we know for sure now who consumes the trannie porn, it's who you'd probably figure. Closeted Maga tough guys like Fatpiggy.
So, you just accused someone of viewing child porn with no evidence. You're not just a POS coward, you are pure scum. But, hey, you're a keyboard, coward warrior. Jesus, some of you are just the most awful gutless wonders I've ever seen.

Carter halts talk of Giants rift after Dart introduces Trump

  • Jordan RaananMay 23, 2026,
Linebacker Abdul Carter was among New York Giants players Saturday who shut down speculation that quarterback Jaxson Dart's political views were causing division in the locker room.
Dart, the Giants' second-year starter, introduced President Donald Trump at a pep rally Friday at Rockland Community College in Suffern, New York. They were at an event for New York congressman Mike Lawler about 35 miles northwest of New York City.
"Look, Big Blue Nation it's a pleasure to be here. I've got to start this off with a 'Go Big Blue.' I'd love if you all would follow with me," Dart said before leading the crowd in a chant.
"What an honor, what a privilege it is to be here. And without further ado, I'm grateful, I'm honored, I'm pleasured to introduce the 45th and 47th president of the United State of America, President Donald J. Trump."

Dart's appearance at the event prompted Carter, the second-year outside linebacker, to respond on social media early Saturday.
"thought this s--- was AI, what we doing man," Carter wrote on X.
After the post sparked considerable reaction, Carter followed up later in the day.
"Me and JD6 are good! We spoke earlier as Men," Carter wrote on X. "Yall can keep yall narratives."
Dart's appearance and interaction caught the attention of other teammates as well. Wide receiver Darius Slayton went to social media to refute a false claim alleging Dart made a racist comment in the past. Offensive lineman Jermaine Eluemunor responded to a Boston-area reporter who suggested Dart's political views had begun to start a divide in the locker room.
The Giants had just concluded their first three voluntary organized team activity workouts Thursday. They are currently in Phase 3 of their offseason program.
"Locker Room is fine," Eluemunor wrote on X. "Focus on New England."
Dart, 23, recently accepted the invitation to introduce Trump. The event was to support Lawlor in his reelection campaign in the area.
Dart and Carter were the Giants' two first-round picks last year. Carter was the third selection out of Penn State and New York traded back into the first round to select Dart with the No. 25 pick out of Ole Miss. They are expected to be foundational pieces for the Giants now and into the future.
Carter had 43 tackles and four sacks as a rookie. Dart went 4-8 as the starter and threw 15 touchdowns with five interceptions. He also had nine rushing touchdowns, which was the second most in the modern era for a rookie quarterback.
