if they're getting Aberdeen why isn't Oweh back?
They said it was because an injury limited his freshman year to 12 games; they sounded skeptical but said the Florida staff was confident.
The scary thing is they look like last year's Michigan team without him.
It would not surprise me if they ponied up that much cash to get Haugh to pass up another first round deal. Insanity that they got their entire front court back yet again.
A good chunk of this will be marketing. Both him and Mullins came back in part, due to their marketability this season.
In what universe will a mid major ever have a chance in this environment? Theres no way the power four doesn’t break off into its own thing
We barely got Oweh back last year…my assumption is that even if Oweh were cleared by some miracle, he would still choose the NBA.

Aberdeen wasn’t injured his freshman year, he wasn’t in the rotation. He played 41 minutes over 12 games
could be, but he's not projected to be drafted. money is money.
It wouldn’t surprise me if he’s intending to take the Trinidad Chambliss approach where even though it wasn’t really reported at the time because he was deep down the depth chart and wouldn’t have played much anyway, he tries to come back and claim that he had some kind of nagging injury and should be able to count that as a medical redshirt. There wouldn’t even seem to be a basis for an appeal otherwise.
That did seem to be what they were saying, about a minor injury that kept him from being full strength a while.

you shouldn't be able to get another year based on an injury 4 years ago, should have applied at the time.
His injury freshman year he played on the NIT, I don't see how he can say that year doesn't count
They are gonna say some BS like 12 games is barely over it and we have documents that showed his ingrown toe nail stopped him. He couldn’t make NIL so it’s not fair and he needs a waiver damn it!
