Well didn’t really envision runners on 1st and 2nd, no out, and none of Schaffner, Gallaher, or Hull could come through.

Guess I don't see what y'all do with Pitt. 14-20 in ACC games. We played 35 innings against them and they didn't lead after a single one.
They won one series against a tournament team (UVA) and their best two players were out hurt. Lost home series to Cal and Notre Dame. I just don't see it.

Big matchup… yes. but don’t think there’ll be much juice. Sunday starters, coaches will ensure setting up for regionals more than winning at all costs. Almost might feel like a scrimmage…
Regionals are certainly more important, but I imagine beating a top 4 team to win an ACC championship would be exciting for the guys and staff. I was at the championship game last year and the team was pretty fired up to win. With that being said, you just never know.
If Rom Kellis can become a reliable bat for the coming weeks, look the hell out.

I had an obligation until just a few minutes ago. I didn’t get to see the score before coming to the game thread. Skipped to the last page and thought it was a close game! Then I opened the live stats to see that the closest Pitt got was 8-4 and the Heels answered that with a four run inning.
Y’all need to work on that. Some folks simply don’t appear to be enjoying this wonderful program. Or you have a different way of expressing your joy than do I. But to each his own I guess!

Why do people say ship and natty? The world title is completely reasonable. Ship sounds like a boat and is only 1 fewer letter. Natty just sounds lazy and like a terrible beer when title is the same number of letters and is a full word.
