Doge is still a thing and is focused on the federal government. JD is going after state level fraud it looks like.

Whistleblower claims ex-DOGE member says he took Social Security data to new job

The Social Security inspector general’s office is investigating allegations that the former DOGE engineer took sensitive data on a thumb drive in a major potential security breach, said people familiar with the process.

According to the disclosure, the former DOGE software engineer, who worked at the Social Security Administration last year before starting a job at a government contractor in October, allegedly told several co-workers that he possessed two tightly restricted databases of U.S. citizens’ information, and had at least one on a thumb drive. The databases, called “Numident” and the “Master Death File,” include records for more than 500 million living and dead Americans, including Social Security numbers, places and dates of birth, citizenship, race and ethnicity, and parents’ names. The complaint does not include specific dates of when he is said to have told colleagues this information, but at least one of the alleged events unfolded around early January, according to the complaint. While working at DOGE, the engineer had approved access to Social Security data.

According to the complaint, he allegedly told the whistleblower that he needed help transferring data from a thumb drive “to his personal computer so that he could ‘sanitize’ the data before using it at [the company.]” The engineer told colleagues that once he had removed personal details from the data, he wanted to upload it into the company’s systems. He told another colleague, who refused to help him upload the data because of legal concerns, that he expected to receive a presidential pardon if his actions were deemed to be illegal, according to the complaint.

Sweet. Here's a list to help prioritize by state. I'm sure they will get to the bottom of democrat all fraud. Strange they picked #34 California and #27 New York next after they wrap up with #46 Minnesota. The key is to start with the answer you believe to be true. Then all data you find just confirms your belief.

Ever thought about the fact that a lack of convictions is the problem? I don't think that chart makes the point you are trying to make. In fact, it makes quite the opposite point.

Vance just doesn't have the juice. He has no charisma on the stage and I don't think he's the guy to continue the MAGA movement. I think it's probably going to be Rubio or maybe Youngkin if dems clean up this year and the GOP decides its time to distance itself from MAGA.

BREAKING: The JD Vance-led fraud task force has now SUSPENDED 70 California hospice and home health providers, mere DAYS after it was created by President Trump — Fox

The funding is officially PAUSED.

Wow, they are hitting the ground RUNNING, just as the people demanded! 🇺🇸

Expose it all. Gavin Newsom is absolutely terrified!

Vance's success in 2028 might well be determined by how well he does with this fraud czar thing. If he can do it successfully - find money, successfully prosecute fraudsters, return money to the treasury - without killing anybody, it will be a good indication of competency

I voted for this. Ohhh yes!!!

JD Vance’s anti-fraud task force wakes up LA fraudsters with FBI raids this morning — taking down a scheme that allegedly stole over $50 million from Medicare and hospice programs.

Vance: 'We’re not wasting any time cracking down on fraud.'

When the government finally starts auditing the auditors’ favorite targets, the grift gets real uncomfortable real fast. 💰🚔

Oops

Well imagine that...

"The error, which the administration admitted first to The Associated Press, prompted health analysts to question how many of the Republican administration’s sweeping anti-fraud efforts around the country were based on faulty findings. One of a few mischaracterizations it made about New York’s Medicaid program, it also reflected a common criticism that’s been made of Trump’s second administration — that it tends to attack first and confirm the facts later.

“These numbers could have been cleared up in a phone call, so it’s really slapdash,” said Fiscal Policy Institute senior health policy adviser Michael Kinnucan, whose recent analysis called attention to the Trump administration’s inaccurate claim.

The mistake appeared in comments made last month by Dr. Mehmet Oz, the administrator of the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, in a social media video and in a letter to New York’s Democratic governor announcing the fraud investigation.

Oz claimed that New York’s Medicaid program last year provided some 5 million people with personal care services, which assist people in need with basic activities like bathing, grooming and meal preparation. That would add up to nearly three-fourths of the state’s 6.8 million Medicaid enrollees.

“That level of utilization is unheard of,” Oz said in the video, adding in his post that New York needs to “come clean about its Medicaid program.”

But the real number of New Yorkers who used those services last year was about 450,000, or between 6% and 7% of total enrollees, CMS spokesman Chris Krepich told the AP this week. He said the agency misidentified New York’s approach to applying billing codes and had since refined its methodology."

Lollers Erika bailed because of the stupid small crowd, and then claimed on Twitter it was because her security team warned of threats, even though the VP apparently faced no such threats.

Vance just went on out anyway and talked to all 400 people. What a warfighter.

This may be one of the stupidest and most poorly designed charts I’ve ever seen.

convictions per 10000 govt employees? What inference does that create - it’s not like anything more than a tiny % of employees have a thing to do with enforcement.

set that aside - convictions? In the real world fraud enforcement is on the civil side. Dollars recovered is a much more interesting metric

and set that aside - public corruption? I’d love to see that definition. But I suspect it has little to do with fraud.

Seen at the Turning Point rally last night in Athens. Apparently JD was on his own - Erika Kirk declining, citing security concerns.
Actual attendance figures haven’t been officially released, but attendees say the venue, which holds 1000 people, was about 1/3 full, with many actually being protesters. Outside, about 200 protesters gathered, one carrying a couch.

Dr. Oz announced yesterday that his “top priority” is rooting out fraud.

He’s launching a 50-state Medicaid audit.

Here’s what his actual fraud record looks like.

The Biden administration suspended 850 insurance brokers from the ACA Marketplace for suspected fraud — unauthorized enrollments and plan-switching to collect illegal commissions.

The Trump administration reinstated all 850.

No investigation. No explanation. Confirmed by GAO.

🚨 HOLY CRAP! In only the last couple days, the Trump DOJ has obtained guilty pleas and a sentencing for fraudsters — totaling $500 MILLION+ in healthcare and COVID fraud

The anti-fraud task force is hitting the ground running.

I voted for this. Keep destroying fraud nationwide 🔥

ACTING AG TODD BLANCHE: "A criminal defendant was sentenced and the department obtained two additional guilty pleas in matters totaling over half a billion dollars in health care and COVID fraud."

"If you think about that, just since yesterday we had a guilty plea in a 160 million dollar health care enrollment fraud scheme and a sentencing in a 100 million dollar COVID-19 fraud and a guilty plea in a 160 million dollar health care fraud scheme as well."

"Each of these cases represents countless hours of dedication from the prosecutors and the federal agents and local law enforcement who work them."
