I did sell my KORU on Friday. Bumpy stretch which included 2 down days of around 20%.

Got out with a double.

Boy genius is betting on a drop for the chip makers. Also interesting that he continues to add to the crypto miners as an AI infrastructure play.

Seems like I was a bit too early on my semiconductor short. I will get back into it. My guess is that NVDA earnings this week will result in more downturn there.

If this was from Q1, Little Leopold is probably bankrupt now. Total a-whooping on these trades.

FYI - I bought a small amount of SOXS Aug $15 calls as a hedge. Smart or dumb? :)

Why go that far out? You are paying 13% premium for a 50% upward move. That is expensive
I was thinking about June, but everyone always talks about how summers can be soft across the board. Would you have gone shorter? I assume every SOXS contract is expensive since the IV is so high. Just using it as a lottery ticket hedge (minimal capital at risk).

I bought $12 calls for June 5 at 0.75.

NVDA reports Revs of $81. Guides next qtr to $90b. AI says it has beaten its own guidance by 8% on average the last 14 Qtr’s.

My thought/anecdote on where we are in the AI cycle.

i was on the Benjamin Moore website looking for a technical question regarding a pool patio paint. I asked a question. 4 days later im still waiting on an answer.

if they had a competent AI bot it would have been answered immediately.

i find myself on websites quite often wishing they had one. Wish etrade had one. But very few do.

Google Gemini is so good for asking specifics about a company.

In regards to INDI.

They are divesting their stake in WUXI which is currently a chinese segment of their current business. Wuxi rev's have been declining, while their core US based business has been growing. Their core business is also less profitable while the core business is higher margin.

So overall rev's have been relatively stagnant, and the company has been a perpetual money loser.

But ridding itself of wuxi is expected to lead to a return to growth as well as becoming profitable by 1st qtr 2027.

Maybe a small amount of Jan 2028 $5 calls? Set it and forget it as lottery ticket trade.

+1 on Gemini. When I’m deep diving on something I have Gemini and ChatGPT debate the topic back and forth, such great tools.

Looks like support at $130'ish. Buy now with a stop loss of $125?
I sold my PLTR this week so it’s likely to go up now.

anyone have thoughts on CEPT? As I’m sure my posts make clear I never thought the crypto coin/token craze was anything more than a scam, but Securitization of RWA seems like the future.

WMT

The mega retailer stood by its fiscal 2027 outlook, which disappointed investors last quarter when it was issued. The retailer said it’s expecting adjusted earnings per share to be between $2.75 and $2.85, lower than expectations of $2.91, according to LSEG. Walmart said it anticipates net sales will rise between 3.5% and 4.5% for the year.

I own some CEPT and believe in the Securitze story. If institutions are going to tokenize assets, they will need a company like this as a partner!

Securitization just makes practical sense. If you own, for example, a RV park it’s a massive lift to buy /sell an interest in it if you ever looked into those RV park investment ads. The securitization process is unbelievable simple. You could securitize almost any asset.

INTU down big on a miss due to Turbotax slowing, fueling fears AI is eating into it's business.

Other software plays being dragged down as well.

Added a little to APP.

Added a good chunk to CRWV. We talked about this one recently. The revenue growth expected (20 analysts, so heavily covered) is ginormous. Sub 10x price to ttm revs. 4.5ishx 2026 expected revs. 2x 2027 revs. NVDA didn't pop on it's earnings, but looks like CRWV is up on the news. Jensen often mentions them.

Not EPS positive, but already CFS positive with a big jump there expected as well.

It's trajectory post IPO is what I expect from CBRS. Initial excitement followed by a cool off period(especially with the big IPO's upcoming) which will provide a great buying opportunity.
