not a climate expert - I know when it's hot, cold, clear or raining ---but to be fair, the article I read stated that part of the reason for the change is the use of renewables....which, thinking bout it, makes some sense. One, or more of the variables changed, so the conclusion changed...makes sense to me.

LOL ok. You see, our atmosphere provides what is called the greenhouse effect. What the greenhouse effect does, is it takes the heat from the Sun that made it to the Earth's surface and slows the heat from escaping back to the atmosphere. What causes the greenhouse effect on Earth are greenhouse gases. What the greenhouse gases do is they absorb the heat/radiation from the Earth and essentially trap the heat which warms the planet. Increasing the levels of greenhouse gases increases the greenhouse effect. Hopefully that was simple enough to follow.

Uhh, no. Warmer air causes increased evaporation, which leads to more cloud cover and a cooling effect. Cooler air then leads to less evaporation and less cloud cover, and a warming effect.

I learned this in meteorology class before global warming became a hoax.
