The real issue is you apparently either have personal issues with Pope or you think you can see the future and know he can't possibly do better going forward. You seem to believe I have a personal attachment to Pope is the only reason I support him getting a third season. I've liked Pope for many years but that has no bearing on this. I do not believe you should remove a coach after just two seasons given the facts at hand whether it be him or someone else. If there are examples of a coach being fired under these circumstances I'd assume it to be very rare and I welcome you to provide pertinent examples and show how that worked out going forward. I have previously given loads of examples of very successful coaches who struggled more than this for more than two seasons in their positions before taking off.

Popes here. I can't change that. I don't hate him or have a personal beef with him. I simply think we are waisting time with him as many others do. I can support him and also have a good idea that this season is going to be a disaster. But who knows maybe they click. Which I've said many times along with a million other positive things. I think you and others are making something out of nothing with that quote that simply made the point that he was no more pleased than us about how things were going. We can probably agree on some things as I am not exactly enamored with the lack of intensity from Pope and our playing style a lot of times but I can acknowledge there is more than one way to get things done so I will have the patience to see how it plays out and support our coach and team in the mean time. I would prefer a lot more aggressive more high risk defense predicated on creating turnovers personally. The lack of off ball movement on offense is a real pet peeve of mine when it occurs as well.
I never disputed that as it is clearly factual. I can live with that being the fact though it is not good and is not acceptable to continue at that level.

No clue why you say this as I have repeatedly acknowledged It was our tournament seed. We factually finished tied for 7th in league play and had one of the more difficult paths with an unbalanced league schedule.
I think we got a bad call. But we shouldn't be in that position with a terrible Auburn team in the first place. Bad call there little grace in the lsu game. I said that last night. We shouldn't have to scrape by Auburn and blame one call.
What do you mean by grace in the LSU game? I don't care if it was scraping by a win is win and should have been ours rightfully and it would have drastically altered our finish from a tie for 7th to tied for 4th.
