As a lefty with a low carbon footprint, I'm not personally worried about gasoline prices. But as a retired person living on a fixed income, I am quite worried about the energy costs that will be increasingly passed through on other things I need.

People who commute and others are getting hit sooner. We're all going to be slammed when air conditioner season rolls around.

its air conditioner season already - most of the year actually - down here in Florida my bill was just adjusted by $2/month.

I'm retired also, and also not worried about energy prices..or just about any other prices for that matter. Thanks for defined benefit retirement programs...

There are many of us. Iowa City is one of the libiest cities you'll ever see. But there's also a lot of former Republicans who abandoned the party after seeing what a disgrace Trump is.
Great takeaway from the 2024 election.

Then maybe criticizing gas prices = supporting nuclear Iran wasn't the slam dunk you thought it was.
I didn't think it was a slam dunk. Just interested in your views (more than most others on the new or old forum). No need to be so sensitive.

Boy them Iranians been right on the verge of a nuclear weapon for the last 30 years. Pretty much since Bibi took office. Shut up and educate yourself instead of listening to uneducated content makers.
Thirty years, two weeks. Tomato, tomahto.

Some day Iran may be forced into developing a nuke and then all these warmongers will say "see, we told you."

Yes, I'm suggesting that we may be forcing Iran to develop nukes. In the same way that beating a dog may provoke it to attack.

Then why are they enriching uranium to 60%?

I forgot that sarcasm is hard for the children of Tylenol. I will try to stop using it so I don't confuse you as much.
I was using sarcasm on you since I could tell you were struggling to use sarcasm in your comment. I hope it was helpful.
