Since this is the House of Politics and Off-Topic Board you all should know a little something about your new friends from HROT.

A large of majority of your new Iowa HROT friends are MSNBC and CNN watching leftwing malcontents. I'd say about 90% of them. In the deep red state of Iowa, HROT represents a tiny blue dot but they can really drag down a message board. Adjust your expectations accordingly.
you're kidding..I would have never guessed.

I've noticed that many are really open to diverse opinions.

Rastafarian, one thing I will give you, since all our new friends have joined, you've moved off your "everything Epstein" posts and become more more diverse in your everything anti trump posts. I guess that a step up mentally. Congratulations.

So are we going to see who can stick the biggest finger in the other's eyes, or carry on discussions even when we disagree. If it's the former, you win...it's just not in me to try to outdo anyone with insults

I'd like to see some stats...maybe a chart, spreadsheet or something. Or do we just "trust" you?

That’s not true. A lot of us get our info from Aaron Rupar and the Bluesky bubble as well.

I never believed in paid trolls, but now I am considering it. Might they be Soros paid trolls? Or are they Russian trolls from a troll farm?

I wouldn't say it's 90%. They're just crying the loudest right now in one big circle jerk of therapy because their side lost the election.

They'd be massive pricks just like Republicans are being now over there, had they won.

"To the winner go the spoils".....and the left has not dealt with it very well.

Okay, that and people have zero f***ing patience anymore. 🫤

You know, now that you mention it, something did seem different.

I'm enjoying this board more now by orders of magnitude. Several orders of magnitude.

Wrong.

The "massive prick" in this argument is Trump.

I think the GOP somewhat returns to normal once Trump is six feet under.

There can be more than one......

But "catalyst" is the word you're looking for, in regard to Trump. He gives people an excuse to act the way they do and say the things they say, and that's true of both sides.

Evidently not. They all left the Iowa board because it went premium.

Why would they leave? Is it that they are all on a fixed income? lol...
Just be happy this is 2026 and not 2006.

We'd be talking about a different kind of invasion in regards to HROT...............

Here we go...the "both sides" response.

Tell me which Democrat is the Trump equivalent.

Save your time, there isn't anyone.

I don't. The rot is too deep. The party will fracture. Nothing's ever gonna be the way it was prior to Trump.

I hope I'm wrong, though.
I think the Democratic party is toast, too. They flatly do not listen to their voters on anything. I'd like to step on chuck Schumer's throat as much as I'd like to step on Trump's.

Edit - I'm not drawing an equivalency to the GOP, for the record. The GOP is pure evil. The Democrats are like 1.5 degrees down from that, but it's a big gap.

Visa versa, but at least you are reasonable.

I proposed a complete deconstruction of the U.S. political system, but everyone is too afraid to rip that bandaid off. I just don't get it...... 🤷‍♂️:unsure::unsure:

I think a lot of people would die horrifically. In theory, I agree with you. But it's all the death that people are likely fearful of, or that is to say, of which they're likely fearful.

Yes, some outsider should come along to drain the swamp that is DC. It'll work, I promise.
