I’ll entertain you though I know you are a troll too, I’m definitely not his BFF but I do work with him off and on. He is a great kid and all business. I made my pitch for him to go to Kentucky already last month and that’s why I said it was my understanding we were 3rd on the list. Seeing this makes me happy though because I knew we had spoke to his agent but now to him directly is the next step. That’s one step closer at this point to making it a reality.

We used to take GREAT pride in being the all time wins leader. But, suddenly, once KU passed us, total wins are irrelevant to a certain segment. Winning percentage is all that matters, now. Constantly lowering the standards while lashing out at anyone who isn’t satisfied.
Those fans are the real embarrassment of this base. Far more cringe than anyone saying “whiff” after a coach goes 0-infinity in landing elite players.
Ask fans of the Yankees, Steelers, Celtics, Lakers, etc, about their expectations. Elite franchises & their fans don’t tolerate regression or failure. Their boards are no different than this one. Go root for the Browns or Vanderbilt if you don’t want the burden of excellence weighing you down.

Everyone will have questions, except maybe Florida, it just comes down to coaching. UConn, Michigan, Houston and Duke have already proven that their coaches know how to make it work. Tennessee, Illinois, Alabama, Iowa St and Arizona have been pretty consistent doing it as well. Texas , St Johns and Vandy get more from less with their teams. Last year was a disaster for Pope, but his year 1 roster was a title team when healthy. You wouldn't have to squint to hard to see how this team with Milan could be good.
Offseason darlings Louisville's rosters does not impress me, especially for a system built on guards that can shoot. And Arkansas has 2 major issues, coaching and interior size.
Think you need a defensive minded/rebounder type back up center to MM.

I wish Pope would offer him enough money to pull out of the combine and sign this weekend. Just seems like the longer it goes, the more time he'll have to screw it up. Or for other teams to have donors kick in more money. He'd be the missing piece for a lot of teams.

I mean you can be critical, but if 90 percent of your post are negative though, why torture yourself?Yeah last year we were bad but was our schedule harder than it usually was? did we have injuries that could have helped us any? Pope did mismanage the roster. The lowe and jq thing was bad. Was substitution patterns bad? Yeah lack of good players and giving players time that didn't deserve it. If we are worried about wins we gotta play easier schedule and Pope don't have a good history with freshmen.
