So, what's it like on this board?

Please feel free to start it. Maintaining that damned leaderboard was a lot of work 😜. I kept accidentally deleting rows and then having to search through pages and pages of threads to rebuild it. I will maintain the one over there (I’m on a paid account), although I guess traffic will drop to a trickle.

Does anyone remember FSU Tribe 76's actual screen name so we can tag him?

Nice to meet you.

What percentage of this board is MAGA?

It's really tough to say. It's clearly disproportionately MAGA relative to the population of the United States. Well over half voted for Trump repeatedly and it's up to you to say if that's enough to make you MAGA. Lots of people who've voted repeatedly for the guy specifically don't identify as MAGA, for what it's worth.

Of the active posters, I'd guess about 35% would be MAGA under any reasonable definition. 30% are left of center (or didn't vote for Trump) but we're outspoken and tend to descend like locusts into threads. We certainly seem to have a "defend the herd" mentality.

The other chunk is a bunch of people who've vote for Trump but "weren't happy about it" or find plenty to disagree with him on. That's the group of people that I can at least talk to.

My "side" does have two posters who jump to mind who are pretty close to trolls and several others who troll the MAGA trolls but are otherwise good posters.

There are significantly more garbage posters on the right, but I'm biased.

This is the best breakdown of the posters on this board I've seen imo (as one of the left of centers who descend onto threads like locusts to defend the herd).

There's more non-MAGA than MAGA, but the MAGA guys word vomit continuously so it makes it look like there's more than there are.

I'd say 10% true leftists, 30-40% pubs that say they dislike MAGA but hate dem policies so they voted for Trump, 30-40% MAGA diehards, and the remaining 20-30% are prob "independents" that lean center right but loathe what the republican party has become
you know, that's probably a pretty good assessment

I'll alert you, @LafayetteBear will correct your English..for example "you're call" really should be "your call"
This. I have told him time and time again that internet grammar policing is the first line of defense of the weak-minded, and that the only appropriate time to comment is when the error is inherently funny (e.g., "that's a mute point") or is like Lou Costello offering a straight man line to Bud Abbott (e.g., "what didn't you go to college, stupid?!" "yeah and I came out the same way"), but he persists.

That said, Bear is a good-hearted soul that one can have a conversation with, though I disagree with him on many things.

So yeah got confirmation basically the trolls went over the line and its against On3 policy to ban IP addresses so they decided to nuke the OT board. Based on the conversation with Kakert he asked if I had an idea to control the trolls, and I said its to ban them but you are unable to do that. I don't see that board ever opening back up again.
