Overall, 37% of adults approve of Trump’s performance as president, while 63% disapprove — including 50% who said they disapprove strongly — putting his job rating at the lowest point of his second term in NBC News Decision Desk polling. Two-thirds of respondents also disapproved of Trump’s handling of inflation and the Iran conflict.

This ^^^^ is precisely why MAGA is widely regarded as a cult. Trump's cult followers will never abandon him. The problem for him is that they represent somewhere between 30% to 33% of the American electorate. Trump has NO support among Democrats, and has lost virtually all of the independent voters as well.

Also, Trump's cult followers are HIS cult followers. They are not similarly in thrall to Congressional Republicans. It's gonna be UGLY for Republicans this November.

It makes sense. He never cracked 50% of the national popular vote, has done tons of damage to the country, and has made the economy worse after promising to make it better
If any other president caused this much damage, the approval would be even lower but his base is so hard-core, nothing can move them off the spot. It's one of the strangest phenomenons in our political history.

Trump's coalition is falling apart. New Fox poll shows stunning collapse in his approval among his best constituencies: *Underwater with noncollege whites (49-51) *With rural voters he's at only 51-49 (!) *With white men he's only at 50-50 (!!)

These are apocalyptic numbers

It really is. The Republicans are going to timeout for a long time.
Nope. 90-95% of Republicans are going to vote Republican. Period. Same with Dems. It's that 10-20% of true Independents that will swing elections. And I do believe that the 2026 and 2028 elections are going to he harsh on Republicans. But those independent votes can swing fast and by the time 2030/2032 rolls around, it will be anyone's game.

BUT you need not worry. Trump will whine like a little ***** on how the Republicans were cheated and the Trumpians on here will do the same. Growlz will be the worst, posting multiple tweets a day telling us how the election was rigged, but just as in 2020, he'll be totally w/o any proof.

I think the redistricting push is going to back fire in a major way for the republicans. Especially in Texas they are cutting the margins very thin based off the last election. With the unpopularity of this war and gas prices lots of independents and some republicans are going to either stay home or switch sides. I think the AIPAC situation is not fully realized on this message board either. Democrats are all out on Israel and millennial and gen z republicans are headed that way.

Don't discount that his support with Hispanics is tanking too. I could easily see Dems winning a couple of the new gerrymandered districts in Texas. Also, Talarico has surged ahead of Cornyn and Paxton in state level polling.

I am absolutely taking that into account. Hispanics went for Trump in the last election. They may move against him.
