Anyone remember an old show in the 1970s, I think it was called "Almost Anything Goes?" It was a really stupid, but relatively entertaining show that typically featured 3 small towns in close proximity that competed in all kinds of crazy stunts. I remember one of the shows featured some small towns in south central Pennsylvania, all of which I grew up near.
