I don’t know what’s worse, trying to change Tomas to a Friday guy, or scheduling LSU on super bulldog weekend.
I am upset. I was going to comment how we “sh*t the bed” and the idiom has already been used. What a terrible start to this series!!
You can set you clock to Ace Reese hitting a Solo HR and then coming up with runners on a hit a weak fly ball or and easy grounder. THAT is why this team is NOT an Omaha team. Milewski continues to play and is no better a catcher than Raymond. Woodson continues to play and is a weak hitter and can’t defend. Teel has disappeared at the plate. Sullivan can’t hit a fastball with steel tennis racket. Ace and Stallman are good a an occasional Solo HR when the team is down by 3 or 4. Defense should be wearing matador Beanies and carrying a red cape. BOC stands like a Statue on the top step and pines for the quiet relaxing days in the ballpark in Charlottesville.
Well first off, we didn’t try to change Tomas to go on Friday; it’s the hand we were dealt due to our FRIDAY night ace being out.
