I know people on this board love/hate flo...but $40 for a one month sub is absurd. It really stinks that they have no real competition because they can basically charge whatever they want.
It is indeed a fascinating business model - identify niche sports with fanbases that are passionate enough to care, but not big enough to attract competition. Buy up rights to events to become effective exclusive distributor. Raise price. Oh, and service? LOL.

Frankly, it's the exact same model that Martin Shkreli employed in the pharma sector.

Watching Mat 8 because Greg said Pierce is in hole. Meanwhile I have no idea who I’m watching as it shows “wrestler2 as red” and “wrestler1 as blue “

Pierce with quick tech as I type

I had a now-or-never moment to make a quick store run that took longer than expected. Sorry about that. Settled in now and will post the red/blue assignments as well.

Wasn’t directed at you! Flo should be able to get wrestlers names on the screen. Thankfully I know who Connor Pierce is!

Question. What does winning the US Open do for a wrestler. Do they get a spot into final X? Or do they get a spot in a best 2 out of 3 to go too final X?

Kinda hard to believe Truax is at 79 kg (174 lb). He looked pretty thin at 184 lb for PSU in 2023/24.

If you win the US Open, you are going to Final X.

If there is someone already sitting in the Final X finals (like Levi Haines, for example) the winner of that bracket at the US Open will face whoever's sitting at Final X. So the 79kg US Open winner takes on Levi.

If no one is sitting at Final X in the weight class, then the US Open winner gets spot one, and the winner at World Team Trials next month gets spot two at Final X.

Depends on the weight class.

57 Kg, 61kg, 70kg, 74kg, HWT winners go to final X. Losers can try again at World Team Trials to face the USopen winner at Final X

65,79, 86, 92, 97 Have to win USOpen because these weights have a guy sitting in Final X already. This is their only shot unless they move to a different weight at WTT

To answer your question..every US Open winner will go to Final X
