I’d be shocked if Wilkins comes. Freeman seems like he will if nothing else better comes along. Stokes who knows.

How many visits have they had when the player ghosted them and looked desperately for another option. Also per the internet. LSU has had zero visits. When they start having multiple guys show up on campus and looking elsewhere, then you can talk. Of the school you mentioned, Duke is the only school that has had an official visit. Granted they did lose that player to Louisville over money. St. John’s has had more visits but they already have 7 players and have signed two as of today, Pitino can afford to be more selective.

- Reports only mention a handful (around 4–6) priority targets so far.

Cmon man...these kids all follow each other. You're gonna drive yourself crazy trying to read anything into what kids do on social media. And why would you be stalking a kid's social media pages? No wonder this fan base has a reputation for being extremely creepy
At this point Freeman is a win If he does in fact come but we need a few great players to go with him. I can’t even guess what the plan is from this staff.
But it's all relative. Market is market - you need the best of what it has to offer.
My guess that teams rolling back talent this upcoming year will have a major advantage. There are no Mara's and Yaxel's this year. I don't think what May did last year is overly repeatable.

Weird start to Pitino's recruiting - zero US players, 2 euros. They've yet to land anyone in the FC.
Potentially taking a page out of Underwood’s book at Illinois, those guys seemed to get along better than any team in the country this past year
They really did - I think Underwood is a player's coach as well. I think they're in on Diop and Freeman. Pitino also coached out there for a year.

Yeah he should hitch it to Elzy, Joker, and Cal’s lifetime contract he got lucky to get out of free.
This is a totally new level of failure though. Losing on top recruits is one thing. Not even getting guys on campus or getting some and not getting them committed when every other school is doing it over FaceTime is crazy.
At this rate of getting players we may not hit double digit wins next year.
Freeman and Stokes will be awesome to nab but we need a lot more than that to be good.

So I know that players have to be in the portal within the next few days, but how much time do they have to sign with a school? I’m not sure what he’s doing, but I hope that Pope is recruiting like we’re not getting Stokes.

There's players that wait till the last day to jump in the portal, that way, schools are either desperate & it ups the price or, they get to see which schools have & haven't signed a player at their position. Either way, it's a win win. There will be plenty of other options. We're all as Kentucky fans guilty of thinking we can get the players because of it being Kentucky, it's a whole different deal now with money & agents involved.
